Superman Returns is probably the most boring movie I ever attempted to watch. I'd rather watch snail racing. I've tried to watch Superman Returns 4 times including in the theatre once. I have never made it through the movie without falling asleep at least once. I've still not seen the end of it. -M

But it was an absolute snooze-fest. All of us agreed to shut it off about half way through because it was so monotonous.

Me too - I've only seen 1/2/3 and the last half of MoS, but those were all terrible... MoS actually had decent SFX so 1 slight saving grace

Considering the forum posters who found it really boring, I may need to bump Superman Returns up a spot.

I voted for Superman II which I think is a superior film to the original, especially the Donner cut. General Zod is a much better villain than Hackman's Lex Luthor and there's more of a proper internal conflict for Superman to face .

At this point it's very very unlikely I'll ever see Man of Steel. And given the reviews of BvS it's pretty unlikely I'll ever see it. I hate Superman as a general rule. And I think Snyder is one of the worst directors working. I just can't seen any reason to put myself through the pain.

Superman 1948 of which he tackled the Spider Lady and Superman 1950 of which he took on ATOM Man of which it was Lex Luthor was very good and I grew fond of Kirk Alyn who by the way was excellent as Clark Kent and Superman and I would had put these two movie serials below Superman the Movie and Superman II.

I caught the end of Superman IV on TV last night. Wow, I knew I didn't like the film, having last seen it when I was a kid, but I never realized just how god-awful it was until now!
And this coming from someone who actually enjoys Superman III. It's not a good film, but I still enjoy it as a guilty pleasure. I definitely cannot say the same for IV.

III isn't bad, Richard Prior is funny, the initial sequence is very good and it has an overall parody quality to it. IV is the worst.

Well since you think watching golf is exciting, Superman Returns is right up your alley You remembered I like to watch golf...I am touched. I wasn't bored by Superman Returns because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how much of the dialogue and plot was ripped out of the first Superman movie. The rest of the time I was being slightly freaked out by Superman as a deadbeat dad and Brandon Routh looking and sounding so much like Christopher Reeve. Still, I'll take Superman Returns over any Nolan Batman film.

The furthest I've ever got was about half an hour and I can't recall a thing about it.

I enjoyed Superman Returns but the sub plot that has him fathering a boy with Lois ruined it for me.

Of all the films listed, I rate Man of Steel the worst. That just wasn't Superman to me. No one in the world liked him and gave him up to Zod without even Blinking.
