I wonder if they get a hard time from Dc/Marvel/Disney for using their characters? Not a lawyer; but, I think they are on solid ground if those displays were made with actual comics. Where they probably have a bigger issue is the use of trademarked logos there on the seating. Those are not original objects, so it is an unauthorized reproduction (unless they got permission and/or licensed the symbols from the parent companies).

There was a restaurant here called "Oscar's" that had a movie theme, posters (from the awards ceremonies and movies) on the walls, statue image on the menus, etc. and the Academy came down on them making them change their name and stop using anything that would relate to the academy awards. Probably would've flown under the radar (and did for several years), but with Kodak in town there were often cinematographers and other tech people coming through and a member ratted them out.
