....you are bothered by trivial stuff like this. I was reading some Batman stories from the 50s. The Batplane had the face of Batman in a circle on the side of the plane. I think most of the time the Batplane has a Bat symbol on it.
This bothers me.

...you know that "I am Groot!" is not the only thing Groot is capable of saying, and that until recently he spoke quite normally.

Bruce Wayne has the money for multiple Bat-Planes. And the space in the cave as well
During the Lee/Kirby years readers would write in letters as to where Captain America kept his shield when he was walking around in his Steve Rogers persona. It was shown in the comics that he tied the shield to his back and then just put his shirt on over it
Really? Anyone believe this? He can hide behind the shield when bullets are flying, but strapped to his back no one could tell he was hiding something?
If you believe that, you probably believe Warren Worthington could hide his wings under a shirt too

If you believe that, you probably believe Warren Worthington could hide his wings under a shirt too For some reason I was always under the impression that Steve preferred to wear a trenchcoat when posing as an average joe outside because it was easier for him to have access to his shield if it was strapped to his back. I don't think it was ever really expounded on as to whether or not the shield itself was malleable enough to allow for easy concealment, because I can imagine it sticking out like a sore thumb in public

If you're too drunk to fish, you might be a.... OOOOPS! Wrong one!
If you take off work on Wednesdays so you can be there when the comic shop opens, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you have comics worth a dollar slabbed by CGC, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you know who Ernie Chua is, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you've ever had a comic book creator get a restraining order against you, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you buy more comics with variant covers than those without, you might be a comic book nerd.
If your post count in this forum is larger than five, you might be a comic book nerd.

If your post count in this forum is larger than five, you might be a comic book nerd. Okay, if my mathematics is correct ... this is my 6,639 post and that translates of being a Comic Book Nerd 1,327.8 times over and since you said it ... I'm a nerd 1,327 times over and that's no foolin ... Looks like Shaxper has to change the rank from Initiate to Single Nerd and then Double Nerd because a nerd worth 5 posts and a double nerd worth 10 posts. I'm getting a headache thinking of how many nerds that it's takes to join CCF!

When someone you know enters the room you simply exclaim "YOU!", when your co-workers have made a mess of things you shout out "FOOLS!", when you want to break up a heated argument you simply say "ENOUGH!", and when things in general are not going your way, you yell "BAH!"

You can actually learn how to speak that way by going to the Dr. Doom school of elocution.

...you've named one or more of your children after a comic book character.
...if you've ever driven an hour or more for the sole purpose of attending a comic book show/convention or checking out a comic shop you'd heard about (bonus nerd points if it's more than 3 hours).
...the only store you went shopping at on Black Friday was a comic book store (bonus nerd points if you hit more than one).
...you're over the age of 12 and own a shirt with a comic book character on it. Cumulative nerd points for each one owned greater than one.

Including a 13 hour drive from NY to Chicago to attend the Comic Con. What makes me a comic nerd is that I totally had to buy this on an impulse. I couldn't resist the Avengers #4 cover.

I was reading the recent Storm and was annoyed how Romano Molenaar (otherwise a decent artist) had the swords in a duel change from one-handed to two-handed swords and back several times.
Comic book nerd and sword nerd!
