So I've given this a lot of thought and, now that the Jamies are over with (and school just ended today!), I think I have a plan for how I want to prioritize my reviews for the summer:
Priority 1: Superman in the Post-Crisis Era. I realize almost no one asked for this one, but we're thirty reviews away from the stretch that had me starting the thread three years ago in the first place. I'm committed to getting there now.
Priority 2: Justice League in the Post-Crisis Era. I'd like to do a bare minimum of two per month for June, July, and August.
Priority 3: Doug Moench and Batman. I intend to do a bare minimum of two reviews for each.
Priority 4: Teen Titans from the Beginning. If I miraculously manage to get through 30 Superman reviews, six Justice League reviews, and two reviews each for Doug Moench AND Batman, then one of many review threads I've considered starting for a long while now is Teen Titans from the Beginning. I just might get to it this summer.
I'll get to it when I get to it: T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents. I really appreciate the enthusiasm expressed for that thread, but I'm just not feeling excited to push through this run at any great speed. I may get in a review or three this summer. No promises.
Probably not getting any attention this summer: Nick Fury. Another thread I'm just not feeling right now.
I'll get to it one day: I didn't even include Master of Kung Fu on this list, as I knew I wanted to get further along in my Doug Moench thread before resuming that one. It might happen in 2017.
Mind you, all of this is subject to change. Some summers, I'm a reviewing machine, and other summers I end up finding more enjoyment in getting outside and doing things that don't require my sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time. This is a basic map of where I think I'd
like to go. We'll see how it works out.
