Probably twice a year, I get to a point with my review threads where I feel like I want to dive in and really devote my energy to one product, but I'm indecisive as to which. Last time I asked, the overwhelming response was that folks wanted me to get started on a Justice League in the Post-Crisis Era thread. Four months and 34 reviews later, I hope you're pleased thus far.
So here are the review threads that I'm currently enjoying working on, as well as where I expect I could get with them after a month or two of intense focus. Let me know which one you'd personally enjoy most. Of course, at the end of the day, what matters most is what makes me happy, but I enjoy working on all of these, and I enjoy having them read and appreciated by others, so what you think does matter to me:
Batman #300 and up: I'm not sure a month or two of intense focus is going to get us anywhere all that important, but it's been a long time since I gave primary attention to this one.
Justice League in the Post-Crisis Era: One month of focus would get us to the beginning of Justice League Europe. All told, If I felt motivated to do so, I could probably finish this entire run with 12 months of intense focus. I'm not promising to go that far, but I can get us pretty far.
Nicky Fury in the Silver Age: I'm positively dreading the Roy Thomas run, but a two month concentrated burst would probably get us most of the way through them AND get us to Steranko's tenure on Agent of SHIELD.
Superman in the Post Crisis Era: 30 reviews left until what I consider to be the start of the Jurgens/Ordway "Triangle Era". I could do it in three months.
THUNDER Agents at Tower Comics: I could finish this entire thing in three months.
Writer's Spotlight: Doug Moench: In two months, I could absolutely close out the 18 remaining freelance stories and begin covering Moench's early days at Marvel (the b/w magazines).
So what are your thoughts? If my end goals are both to write about things I enjoy AND to share that enjoyment with others, it matters which of these you're most interested in following.
Thanks in advance!
