I was given the box to stock them at the front end, and lo and behold...they were gone before lunch! People were literally waiting for them to go out on the shelf!!Now I've gotta wait because this holds true for all my local walmarts ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! Still, how cool that they are this popular? Hopefully, Walmart will now see the wisdom in stocking more of them. Any adventure worth having is filled with setbacks and danger, young Frodo |

Hey guys! I have been checking my local Walmarts and have yet to find any of these grab bags!! I was looking on eBay at some to buy and wanted to get some recommendations for them... I know a lot can be scams but I'm sure there are some that are genuinely great! Thanks again! =)

They're from the mid-1990s (before Diana died) and are all really really snarky towards the Royal Family. I can't imagine the appeal unless you were British and detested the Royal Family. Sounds great. Where do I sign up? |

The problem with those 50 random comic lots is that they can be very hit or miss, and usually on the latter side. $25 sounds like a deal, but if you end up only liking 3 or 4 of the comics it can end up as a ripoff.
Especially considering the reviews on the first link, I'd be wary. But if you do happen to pull the trigger on one, I'd be curious to see what you get!

Well to me, $34 sounds like a lot for 10 comics and a chance at a key comic. If you happen to get a comic worth at least that amount or more, than it would be a great deal. It does look like the seller has several key issues. So I don't know, it's definitely a gamble. |

My LCS has mystery boxes which have 50 comics for $15, or 30 cents each. I bought one a little while ago and while the contents were very interesting, there were really only 5 or 6 comics I actually wanted. It would have been a great way to kick start a collection and learn about different comics if I were new to the hobby, but it just wasn't for me.
It was fun opening the box, though!

I have a small pile of books (maybe 40-50) leftover from a recent purge of my collection I am thinking of posting for the Classic Comics Exchange thread, but it might be interested to do them as grab bags instead if people are interested....
