Update: I found some grab bags at my Walmart, they were in an odd location I've never noticed before up by the front where the MtG cards are located. They only had the New 52 grab bags, and they had a stack of them. I was surprised to see Batman #1 at first because it's a $100 comic, so I snatched that up as well as the Justice League and Superman packs. Reviews incoming!
So first off, I was impressed with the condition of these comics. They appear as if they are right off the presses with no defects to report. They seem to have even survived the shrink-wrap process well. Very high grade! It is near impossible to tell what the other comics in the bags were under the top comic. I didn't catch this at first, but the top comics are all reprints that are exclusive to Walmart. This was a bit disappointing but then again I knew a first print of Batman #1 would be too good to be true. However, the other two comics underneath are regular edition direct comics.
Batman Pack:
A reprint of Batman #1, Annual #4 and Batman #26. Not bad. Considering nearly all reprints of Batman #1 have gone up in price (a 4th print is worth $40 atm), I expect this one to increase in value as well.
Estimated Value: Batman #1 $10, Batman Annual #4 $5, Batman #26 $4
Justice League Pack:

Justice League Pack:
Justice League #1, Sensation Comics Wonder Woman #1 and Earth 2 #1. All #1's in this pack. Sweet. Earth 2 #1 was the first comic I read out of this pack and I really enjoyed it. Man it was dark though. Can't believe what happened!
Now I need to check out the rest of the Earth 2 series, so a thank you goes out for that. Justice League #1 isn't worth all that much yet, maybe $15 for a first print. So I'm going to price the reprint at $4.
Estimated Value: Justice League #1 $4, Sensation Comics Wonder Woman #1 $4, Earth 2 #1 $4
Superman Pack:

Superman Pack:
A nice surprise in this one...four comics! I had noticed it felt a bit bulkier than the rest of the other packs. Sure enough, Action Comics #36 was tucked into Superman Unchained #1. There is a poster in Superman Unchained #1 so it's already a bit thick...maybe someone got confused? Whatever the case may be, I'll take it. So Superman #32, Superman Unchained #1, Supergirl #36 and Superman #36 round out this pack. I thought Superman #32 was an interesting choice for a reprint. It's not a particularly valuable comic other than it being John Romita Jr's first work for DC.
Estimated Value: Superman #32 $3, Superman Unchained #1 $4, Supergirl #36 $3, Action Comics #36 $4
Total spent on New 52 3-packs: $15
Total estimated value: $46

Is it worth it? YES! I see nothing but a great value here. The comics are high grade and many of the regular edition comics are still worth cover price. Too bad about the reprint issues, but the Batman #1 reprint is still a great investment. And I'm not sure if the Superman pack was intended to have 4 comics or not, but knowing there could be a chance of that is pretty cool as well. One of the packs also enticed me into a new series (Earth 2) which I probably wouldn't have been interested in otherwise.
I'm hearing these came out in May, so check your local Walmarts for them if you get a chance. Totally worth it!
