Weren't they and those above more than friends? So Light lass and Vi...? No wonder my mom wouldn't let me read that comic. Ayla and Vi were shown to be in a relationship during the 5YL Legion era. The same era that also revealed that Element Lad's girlfriend Shvaugn Erin was actually male, and that Garth Ranzz had actually never returned from the dead in the Silver Age (his body had, but the mind in possession of it was that of the supposedly deceased Proty). That was an interesting period in Legion history...

Just remembered another obvious one: Tintin and Milou I was gonna say this yesterday, but didn't for some reason. Although, I would've said Tintin and Snowy, being English.

That's an understatement...Ivan was revealed to have had a lifelong obsession with the Widow, and eventually turned himself into some kind of cyborg nightmare which she was forced to kill to stop him from starting a nuclear war because she didn't love him. I think I don't want to read comics anymore. You haters! Don't you realise that Ivan was boring before? Now he's a creepy, cyborg stalker! What more do you want? What, you say you always liked his understated, platonic, somewhat mysterious relationship with the Black Widow and don't understand why a story couldn't have been built from that? But now he's a cyborg! And evil! How much cooler can you get? There's no pleasing some people!
