I didn't even realize Bakelite was still a thing in 1970. Flash Gordon (as a symbol of "the future") either, for that matter. Great art, though I suspect put together from existing panels.

Your instinct is spot on, Prince Hal. Just to elaborate, when DubipR posted these ads awhile back, I did some reasearch--the Pursettes ads appeared in romance comics (Charlton,DC) as well as in magazines aimed at teenage girls.
