This goes back at least to the Captain Tootsie ads by C.C. Beck.
The GCD records ads that are in comic form and gives credits when they can find them.
They haven't been able to find any credits for the "AAU Shuperstar" ads from the late 70s. Does anyone have a clue who drew those?
