Rumor has it that the Doctor Who spinoff Class has been cancelled after only one season. I'm not that surprised, it never managed to catch me. The concept was neat, but I felt they failed in the execution because they just flt out didn't take the time to make me care about the characters and with this kind of show that's really the most important aspect.

I thought Katherine Kelly had some pretty good scenes but most of the students weren't very likable and honestly the story wasn't all that interesting. Still it was arguably better than most of Torchwood (not counting Children of Earth which is best of). I wouldn't be surprised if we got some audio stories featuring some of the cast and possibly even the 13th Doctor though.

This calls for a sing-a-long! K-9! The most imaginative, cleverly written lyrics to a TV show since...well...Batman, I guess...

Given how much I enjoyed the animated The Power of the Daleks serial this is definitely something I want to check out.

Incidentally, today marks the 30th anniversary of the publication of the first issue of Doctor Who Weekly, which eventually became Doctor Who Magazine. The cover date was actually October 18th, but that was the "off sale" date, on which it had to be removed from the newsagents' shelves.

An ensemble cast of companions sounds like an interesting way to go.
