I’ll add my favorite Tennant episode, “Silence in the Library” (Moffat). That’s in my Top Five as well for Tennant.

I've watched The Star Beast so far, which is the first reunion episode....it was ok, a few cringe-worthy lines, like when Rose started to beeyotch about Beep the Meep's gender (leave that out of Doctor Who please). Hardly surprised though, seeing Disney in the credits....
Rose also looked much older than 15....
I'll check out the follow up episode which aired Dec 2 next....I need to see Daleks, Cybermen or Weeping Angels to be a really happy girl....
PS Tennant's best episode remains *Blink* imo....
I though the line made sense, the Meep is a fuzy alien so the question of its gender if it had one was hardly known.

“Blink” is a great episode, but is it really a David Tennant episode, when Sally Sparrow and the Weeping Angels are the main characters?
Sure it is, he was an integral part of that video-tape conversation....
No matter how many times I watch it, I can't wrap my head around it, it was brilliant....

loved, Loved, LOVED the first episode with the new Doctor! Cannot wait to see what is coming, but I love the idea of having a Doctor unburdened by the weight and guilt of his entire existence and who just enjoys the travels. Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson were such a breath of fresh air, both of them being charming and likeable from the outset and seeming to be having fun with their roles.

I think my least favorite change in the new Doctor Who vs the classic series was making him some kind of mythical being rather than simply a Time Lord who got tired of just observing the universe and wanted to get involved.

I liked that we got a seemingly lower stakes episode. When we get a bunch of episodes where the stakes are the fate of the entire universe/reality, it's not just exhausting for the Doctor but for me as a viewer. It's easier to get into it when things are more concrete too.

It took me a while to realise the Toymaker was Doogie Howser! When he was prancing around I kept thinking of Q from Star Trek Next Gen....
And the new Doc should make a statement and not wear pants for the whole of his tenure lol....
Loving the enhanced special effects...didn't fancy the line about the jack-in-the-box.....
Who picked up that gold tooth?
Will catch up on the Christmas special next....

The Christmas episode was a bit meh....didn't fancy Goblins as an adversary and the singing and dancing with the Jabba the Hut knock off was annoying.
Ruby is like a blonde Clara but I'll give her a fair go....liked Rose (Billie Piper) and Amy Pond the most as companions, but I'm glad they're back to just one and not an ensemble.
Hoping to see the new guy with Daleks, Cybermen and of course, the Weeping Angels.

BBC and new Doc already getting blasted....exactly what I was afraid of. Some abrasive language included.

Who picked up that gold tooth? IIRC there was a cult who resurrected The Master before. The background music kinda reminded me of that.

Eh, I'm not even going to bother giving them a click to watch it. The ratings were good and everybody I know in real life and online loved it so far so it's nice to know that not only are those kinds of people wrong but also a very small (yet vocal) minority.
