As the subject says, I'd be very interested to see choices and examples anyone has regarding this topic. I'm hopeless as far as any combos because I never really paid attention, I just noticed sometimes guys pages looked better than other times and just guessed it was the inker. Is this true?
Sorry if if this has been discussed before...

So many artistic teams to admire that made the whole enchilada so delightful:
Adams and Giordano on Batman Kirby and Sinnott on FF Kirby and Colletta on Thor Buscema and Chan on Conan Buscema and DeZuniga on Savage Sword of Conan Buscema and Palmer on Thor and Avengers Andru and Esposito lots of DC and Spiderman Kane and Romita Sr on Spiderman Byrne and Austin on X-Men Miller and Janson on Daredevil Colan and Palmer on Tomb of Dracula Infantino and Anderson on the Flash Swan and Anderson on Superman Starlin and Milgrom when they work together

Always loved seeing Wally Wood doing inks. Hell, Wally Wood doing anything Wally Wood inking Jack Kirby on those Skymasters newspaper strips Wally Wood inking the pedestrian Bob Brown in Superboy circa 1970 and made it look nice Wally Wood inking Ric Estrada on All Star comics Wally Wood inking Ditko but I forget for which strip

I won't name any names but there were certain inkers that absolutely ruined Kirby's pencils.

An artist that is criminally under rated is Bob Oksner.

Gene Colan and Tom Palmer are difficult to beat, their run on Tomb of Dracula is a classic.
I found the combination of Al Milgrom and Mike Machlan difficult to enjoy on West Coast Avengers. Milgrom with Joe Sinnott was fine, Milgrom inking Starlin on Captain Marvel was great but Milgrom with Machlan, no thanks.

Wally Wood inking Ditko but I forget for which strip Wood inked Ditko on T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agants (Dynamo, Menthor and Weed strips), Cannon in Heroes Inc, DC's Stalker and the first two issues of Atlas's the Destructor.

Gene Colan was a great penciller but it was hard to find the proper inker for his work. Tom Palmer has been mentioned and is the best. My second favorite with Gene Colan was Steve Leialoha

I thought Gil Kane and Klaus Janson made a great team, especially on Daredevil #147, 148 & 151 (laying the foundations that Frank Miller and Janson built on later) and What If? #3.
I tend to dislike Vince Colletta's inking of most pencillers. Kane is supposed to have said Colletta was his second favourite inker, and when this led to the question of who was his favourite he said "anyone else."

An artist that is criminally under rated is Bob Oksner. No argument there, but less for his "straight" work than his great cartooning. As far as teams: Carmine Infantino/Sid Greene Mike Sekowsky/Sid Greene Curt Swan/George Klein Jack Kirby/Joe Sinnott Giffen/Oksner Giffen/Gordon Rogers/Austin Colan/Palmer
