I have a low-grade copy of this that I bought for $5 at Comic-Con in the 1990s. There's one story about Hitler in the bunker as the Russians are closing in. Hitler doesn't kill himself. A very young German soldier, angry at what has happened to his country under the Third Reich, makes his way to the bunker through the chaos of Berlin in that chaotic spring of 1945. He finds Hitler and SHOOTS HIM IN THE FACE! Art by Russ Heath. It's pretty awesome.

You can see the whole story of "I Saw Hitler Die!" from Battle #16 here. I tried to post just the scan of the specific page but I couldn't get it to work.

Gotta go Spidey on this one! I have never, ever seen this cover before ... both alter egos on the cover and that's a twist that I did not expect at all!

Personally, I have not read many original big Goblin battles (outside of issues #26-27 of ASM which I own) so for me, this is the best one. I refuse to read others because I want my first read to be once I own the issues....good luck to me on ASM #14

There are two covers in particular I thought of right away and for whatever reason didn't use, but I'm very curious to see if they appear. Yes, there are a few covers I'm anticipating will appear here (mostly Silver Age, of course ... but also some older ones). A lot of great cover selections so far! I'm dying to use that "wood" Rifleman cover. .but that's not two men, that's a man and a teenager!
