Oh, I'll be checking in every day. I just won't be contributing to as many threads as I do now.
Cei-U! I summon the s!'tload of stuff I have to read!

Let's not forget, fellas, that we've been asked not to bad-mouth CBR or other boards here. Cei-U! I summon the gentle reminder! Indeed, so instead I'll just list all of the good things about CBR since the reboot: You're cold Mr. dupersuper.

North of Worcester, we're up to about 27 inches so far. About two feet on the Cape, wind still howling out there. Good day to watch The Winter Soldier.

Now It Can Be Told Dept. Last October, Roy Thomas invited me to co-author not one but TWO volumes in TwoMorrows' American Comic Book Chronicles series, one covering 1940-44, the other 1945-49, that should hit the bookstores sometime in 2016. If you haven't seen the previous volumes, these are beautiful hardcover books, meticulously researched and lushly illustrated, and I'm going to be working my ass off to ensure my contributions are worthy of the format. We haven't discussed how we're divvying up the workload yet (Roy's elbow deep in writing the definitive biography of Stan Lee at the moment) but I have a ton of books and comics to read in the interim. Figure on me being less of a presence on CCF for the next year or so... and wish me luck! Less Cei-U? Say it ain't so! But this is great news indeed, Kurt, and I'm very glad to see such an opportunity open for you. Here's hoping that it will lead to more and more books and articles from the deep well of your imagination and encyclopedic knowledge! (And I do not despair of seeing Lash House be published one day; it's a great story).

Indeed, so instead I'll just list all of the good things about CBR since the reboot: You're cold Mr. dupersuper. Accurate though. With Bleeding Cool having taken a monumentally ill-judged redesign, this place is definitely a refuge of (sort of) sanity. And Dan, obviously.

I wish every collected edition used the same format as the BPRD Plague of Frogs hardcovers.

Bleeding Cool, I just saw their web-site for the first time in a long time and I'm not impressed with the redesign at all. Real Ugly too.

Bleeding Cool, I just saw their web-site for the first time in a long time and I'm not impressed with the redesign at all. Real Ugly too. It is truly, truly appalling design. I get that it was often horrifically slow in the past, and I get that they've optimised it for mobile, but to leave the web-site looking like an amateur fanpage from 1995 is just embarassing - whoever designed, coded and delivered that should be ashamed of themselves.

This is cuddlier than it looks at first glance: That just made my morning. It was totally worth getting up and shoveling four feet of 2 foot deep snow so that I could get to work and view this image on company time.

Heh. Glad to serve. I like these... Lewis Trondheim and Jason do "movies in two panels" every Wednesday.

I didn't quite scroll down all the way, reading the posts above it and just saw a lot of furry, what I thought, were going to be legs and was ready to scream for spoiler tags. Thankfully it didn't end up being some giant ass jungle spider with zebra stripped legs that was just found in a container of imported fruit and now loose in the US. You're alright pip! :thumb:
