I set up a meetup with a girl I've been talking to for Sunday. We've met up twice before, but they were very casual hang outs (once for coffee and once over dinner). The conversation was good both times, but I'm unsure what she feels so far. Hopefully I can figure it out this time.  Or you could not worry about what she feels and just have a good time with a cool chick. Well, that would be too simple, wouldn't it?  |

The other day I was watching Avengers: Age of Ultron on Netflix, which marked the first time I re-watched any of the MCU movies. I had a good time with it, but there were times when I would chuckle at a joke, and then look around me in confusion because there was no one else to laugh with me. Being used to watching these movies in the theatre has conditioned me into viewing it as a social experience.

I walked in on my wife and son watching Flash and found out it and GA, Supergirl and another show are doing the Invasion! storyline in the shows when I heard "The Dominators". Now I think I'll watch GA with them tomorrow to see what they look like. Was kind of surprised they picked a rather obscure story to use to crossover the shows. It's quite good and I've enjoyed it very much!  I watched the final episode last night, and I think it went pretty well. I know with the lack of the other alien species from the comics in it, they had to alter the Dominator's behavior as scientist and strategist to include warrior and progress the plot. Kind of thinking on it now, I wouldn't have minded a Invasion! DC movie to showcase more DC's heroes on the big screen other than Batman and Superman. Ah well. Still a cool redesign of the Dominators. Though they should have had Christian Bale do the voice of the Dominator. Cause the voice they used sounded too human. |

Betty Brant, if I have her name right, from the Ditko Spider-Man - which reminds me, whatever happened to that character? Di they just forget about her after MJ Watson and Gwen Stacy came along? I almost think I can recall her getting married off to someone but that might be wrong.

My cat knocked over a candle once and one of my grandmother's doilies caught on fire. I tossed it in the sink but burned my fingers. Our long-haired cat once stood next to a candle and set his own tail on fire. He didn't realize that his hair was burning so the poor kitty had no idea why we were whacking his tail. Once the danger of a flaming cat running thru the house was averted, we collapsed in laughter. |

I have not read a Spider-Man comic with either character for quite some time, but somehow this fact popped into my head. |

Were you cooking something? *sigh* I made a grilled cheese sandwich, and I forgot to turn the burner off and left the pan there. But in my defense! today has been overly hectic with things not going as planned, and 'tis the season and all of that. It was awful. The pan is new, too, and now it's messed up. The FedEx guy came to the door for me to sign for a package, the smoke detector went off, and my dog started howling (and if you have ever seen a pit bull howl, it is so odd because they look like old people without any teeth), and my house still stinks. And I thought my husband would be mad because it's a new pan, but he is more concerned about teflon burning and being toxic and me breathing that in, so now I'm probably going to die. And I just want to get this collar listed and get my workout in. |
