Today's mail day. I will be doing this soon. You told me about that before. It's probably over my head. I've just been reading magazines lately. Mostly about music. Unfortunately, I can't drink black tea anymore because of my anxiety. Only certain herbal teas and things. Once in a while though.... but I always regret it. Yeah, I told you I wanted to get it (I cannot believe you remember that!). I won't probably start it until tomorrow or Friday, though. I am waiting on a few other things to arrive. I am really interested in reading it. I flipped through some of the pages tonight, and I think I'm going to find it extremely interesting. Also: I'm sorry you cannot drink black tea. I would die without my afternoon black tea. Tea has just enough caffeine to give me a boost in the afternoon. Coffee has too much caffeine, and I feel like I'm going to fly out of my own skin.

I usually drink 2-3 cups of coffee per day every day of the week. My wife loves dark roasts, but I'm more of a medium roast kind of guy, especially things like hazelnut and pumpkin spice.

I remember lots of things, sometimes. Oh, I can drink it, but I won't sleep or be able to calm down for hours and hours. Plus I have tinnitus, so the buzzing becomes ear piercing. I have a cupboard full of mostly peppermint tea, which does help calm me down so I can sleep, usually. Love a nice cup of peppermint tea or green tea.

Love a nice cup of peppermint tea or green tea. I live on green tea while at work. Mellows me out and wakes me up all at the same time.

The only tea I drink is black tea...over ice. I drink at least a 12-cup pot of dark roast coffee a day.

Coffee can have that effect on me if I drink it any other time than in the morning. And I think it is the amount of caffeine. But I do love my coffee in the morning.♡

Love a nice cup of peppermint tea or green tea. Green tea has caffeine, so I have to avoid that too. This will soon turn into the allergy thread if I keep talking about this stuff. Let's see: there's black, green, and white teas, right? So, how do the caffeine levels work? Is it that white teas are caffeine free? Or does it depend on the blend? I am not well versed in teas. My mom drank tea all the time, but she is no longer available to ask. I could probably Google, but: conversation is fun. ♡

Coffee with creamer, and a packet or two of Splenda, is the most perfect thing in the morning. Afternoons are for black tea and creamer, in some sweetener, in a smaller cup. Perfect boost. This is also why I drink black teas, I have to put creamer in my tea. Plain tea is not my thing.

I stick with herbal teas mostly. Twig tea (kukicha?) doesn't have caffeine and I guess that's my alternative to black tea. I have a problem with panic attacks, so.... I am susceptible to panic attacks as well, which is why I have to also be mindful of my caffeine intake. I cannot drink caffeine after 2 pm, if I intend to fall asleep at a decent hour.

Now I want some tea. Strictly chamomile at this time of night.

Now I want some tea. Strictly chamomile at this time of night. And, see, I am not a chamomile drinker. Or, at least, I wasn't when I was younger. My mom used to get Celestial Seasonings and Lipton. We did not have the internet then, so she had to settle for what she could get locally.

I used to have panic attacks in school and I would get yelled at for them. My entire life revolves around managing anxiety, so I could talk about this for hours. Some of them are not allowed to be discussed here though, even though I have a prescription. I mean I sustained, supposedly short-term brain damage from one prescription medication and they had to find something else for me and even that isn't harmless, just less so. That's terrible. I'm so sorry. Are you better now?
