I am susceptible to panic attacks as well, which is why I have to also be mindful of my caffeine intake. I cannot drink caffeine after 2 pm, if I intend to fall asleep at a decent hour. I used to have panic attacks in school and I would get yelled at for them. My entire life revolves around managing anxiety, so I could talk about this for hours. Some of them are not allowed to be discussed here though, even though I have a prescription. I mean I sustained, supposedly short-term brain damage from one prescription medication and they had to find something else for me and even that isn't harmless, just less so. Sweet Jesus! I am so sorry. My god. ♡♡♡

And, see, I am not a chamomile drinker. Or, at least, I wasn't when I was younger. My mom used to get Celestial Seasonings and Lipton. We did not have the internet then, so she had to settle for what she could get locally. I like it at night. I'm a bit of an insomniac (especially during finals week), and it helps me sleep. You are a teacher, yes? My best friend is, too, and he is super stressed right now, too.

The only tea I drink is black tea...over ice. I drink at least a 12-cup pot of dark roast coffee a day. How do you not fly out of your skin or race yourself? I would probably end up having the most anxious, panic-stricken out of body experience if I drank that much coffee. lol. It honestly doesn't bother me at all. I can have a cup of coffee at bed-time and go right to sleep. In fact I drink iced tea all evening long in the summer.

Oh, I only drink coffee in the morning, not because of any effect it has on me but because I just don't have a taste for it after lunch. Coffee with creamer, and a packet or two of Splenda, is the most perfect thing in the morning. Afternoons are for black tea and creamer, in some sweetener, in a smaller cup. Perfect boost. This is also why I drink black teas, I have to put creamer in my tea. Plain tea is not my thing. No cream, no sweetener. Black coffee all the way, every day.

Sweet Jesus! I am so sorry. My god. ♡♡♡ It's memories that are lost, some have come back, some have not. Certain emotions may be amplified by the way my brain was altered or something. I still function normally, basically, I have a job and house, etc.. It was a while ago. My doctors could explain it better. I'm probably not explaining it right. Lolatadatodo I'd rather discuss this in PM at this point, if you want to talk about it further. Oh wow that's terrible that happened to you I have depression and anxiety as well so i can relate very well . hope things get better for you hugs .

Caffeine has never bothered me that much. I do enjoy the caffeine kick of a morning mug o' joe, but I can also drink it right before I go to bed and have no trouble dropping off. I used to drink a ridiculous amount of coffee, and like you, slam, 12 decent sized mugs a day was no problem. These days, I have cut back considerably and drink much more tea -- which I love just as much as coffee. I mostly drink what they call English breakfast tea these days, but which, as far as I'm concerned, is just tea. I also like Darjeeling and I like to make my tea properly, in a tea pot, with loose tea leaves, poured through a tea strainer into the cup.

No way could I manage that.

I also like Darjeeling and I like to make my tea properly, in a tea pot, with loose tea leaves, poured through a tea strainer into the cup. When I decided to try tea out, this is the type of tea I got. But I was buying tea bags because that is what my mom always bought. I have, like, 90 tea bags of Bigelow's English Breakfast black tea blend. I like Bigelow's teas, but the problem is, I buy online, and Bigelow rarely sells single boxes, so I have to buy in bulk. I'm probably going to be 85 before I get through those 90 tea bags. lol. I don't like buying bulk for teas that I have never had before. I mean, what am I going to do with 120 tea bags if I end up hating the tea?
