Yeah, I'm like that too. Caffeine has never bothered me that much. I do enjoy the caffeine kick of a morning mug o' joe, but I can also drink it right before I go to bed and have no trouble dropping off. I used to drink a ridiculous amount of coffee, and like you, slam, 12 decent sized mugs a day was no problem. These days, I have cut back considerably and drink much more tea -- which I love just as much as coffee. I mostly drink what they call English breakfast tea these days, but which, as far as I'm concerned, is just tea. I also like Darjeeling and I like to make my tea properly, in a tea pot, with loose tea leaves, poured through a tea strainer into the cup. Me too, man. Now about that rabbit... Heh! The product of too much caffeine?

I'm also not a coffee drinker, never have been, never will be. Love the aroma, detest the taste (which no amount of latte foam or caramel drizzle can disguise). For 40+ years I ingested my caffeine in the form of Coca-Cola, which I gave up two years ago during that edema problem I had with my legs. I do enjoy a nice cup of tea now and then (Earl Grey with lemon, no sugar, is my preference) but mostly I drink the canned Lipton Iced Tea for my morning jolt. Thinking about giving it up, though, because of all the added sugar. My favorite beverage nowadays is a yummy line of flavored water my sister found for me. Great taste (the peach creme is to die for), plus no sugar, sodium, fat, or caffeine.
Cei-U! I summon the thirstquenchers!

Looks like I won't be working today.
My dog is sick.<---yes, I work from home, and I realize how privileged I am that I can take a day off because my dog is sick .
I think we are over the worst of it, but this dog is determined to be the death of me, so he is not leaving my sight for 2 seconds.
If I go to the bathroom, he goes with me. He has a habit of eating things that he should not eat. Things that are not food. I think he ate some fallen leaves in our yard, and they have upset his stomach. But vomiting only makes him want to eat more things he should not eat.
Ugh. Looks like netflix and comics for me today, while he rests on the bed next to me. Sounds like an awesome day, huh? But I really wanted to get work done today.

He keeps me safe when no one is here.

I don't have a dog to keep me safe, so I'm banking on convincing intruders that "I have my father's gun and a scorching case of herpes". I literally LOL'ed at this. I just hope my manager didn't hear me and think I'm losing my mind. Love that movie!

Uh oh. I just found the classic TV show and movie channels, that I did not know we had.
Just watched an episode of "Adam-12". I had never heard of that show before. Now I am sucked in.

They show Miami Vice on there, but it is poorly edited for longer commercial breaks; if I did not have the DVDs I might not have noticed, I don't know, it's pretty bad sometimes.... The best parts are the musical montages and they cut some of them out to show scary commercials about blood clots and asbestos. *shudder* Yessss. That is the channel. Now I am watching "Hart to Hart". But I am about to read some WW, so.♡

Omg. Now I am watching "Quincy, M.E.".
Did the pregnant teenager kill herself, or was she murdered? Was she pregnant with her father's child or?
This is gonna be good.

And I have read two issues of WW. I am not used to this kind of downtime. This is what my entire 8 months of unemployment were like. I watched a lot of TV, read a lot of comics, and played a lot of Magic: The Gathering. I'd say I miss it, but then I remember the whole "I'm super-stressed because I'm running out of money" thing and then I thank God I get to wake up early every morning and head off to an office, particularly when I see money show up in my bank account every other Friday.

This is weird downtime for me, though. I am limited as to what I can do because if I start cleaning or get involved in something, I cannot watch this perpetual vomit machine mutt (who I adore). lol.
