Teenagers ... am I right? lol Lol you tube videos to I bet ☺☺ I love them myself lol Oh yeah. Both my boys watch a lot of youtube. The teenager watches movie reviews and stuff like that. Lately it's Usual Suspect, I think. I watched one that was a review of Home Alone with my son. I don't get watching a 30 minute critique of a 90 minute movie, but that's probably because all I had for reviews on TV growing up was Siskel and Ebert. My youngest watches tons of gameplay videos. Where he'll just watch someone play a game from start to finish. Chuggaconroy, I think, is one that does a lot of what he watches. Then they were both into Minecraft videos so DanTDM and Popular MMOs I think. I remember my wife locking out that one obnoxious dude that super popular...I can't think of his name. But my wife said he was a foul mouthed little $hit. Reading this post I am amazed at home much I remember and have absorbed just hearing second hand what they watch. Yet I can't remember where my phone or glasses ended up some mornings.

Odd. Can't tell if this guy (assuming as always, of course, that he's guilty of what he's accused of) was coming from the right, the left or just plain out there, period. My former newspaper's report on the aftermath of a disturbance yesterday morning at the gate I happen not to use 99 percent of the time (& about 30 minutes after I come in, for that matter) --
Update 11 a.m.- The suspect in custody Wednesday morning following Tuesday's standoff was the culmination of a days-long investigation that began with a death threat spray painted in front of MPD's headquarters.
"Over the last several days we located addition graffiti consistent with what we found at police headquarters, the Maxwell gate and around the state capitol," said police officer Scott Tatdum during a press conference on Wednesday.
Police found the message, "Kill the zionist slaves secret society, secret police extortionists" in large white letters on North Ripley Street directly in front of the station shortly after midnight on Dec. 31.
Two other similar messages saying, “All slavers die here” were found painted in front of the Capitol building and Maxwell Air Force Base’s Day Street gate where shots were fired on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, police were notified of the shooting at the Maxwell gate at Day Street and Air Base Boulevard. All incidents were connected to each other, but isolated in nature according to public safety, city and military officials on Wednesday during a press conference.
An individual was seen shoot three times into the Air Force Base and drive off. A local citizen witnessed the incident and followed the suspect, taking note of the suspect’s tag number.
Shortly after, Matthew Elliott Shashy was developed as a suspect and officers arrived at his home at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday wanting to question him in regard to the graffiti threats. Family members communicated with officers and Shashy and worked to end a 12-hour long negotiation which ended at 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

Last week got into the optometrist for new glasses before the end of the year and found out I have a hole in my eye.
Got an appointment made immediately with an ophthamologist to examine. Wouldn't have been able to get in for a couple of weeks but found out yesterday there was a cancellation for today.
Eyes dilated, bright lights, and finally having each eye forced open while doctor uses more bright lights and directs me to roll my eye as far as I can in eight different directions.
Finally, after about 30 minutes of his examining, while using his fingers to press against my eyes and push them slightly as needed, I find there's an additional hole.
Left untreated these holes would continue to weaken my eyes and my retina would detach.
I took the first opening for the surgery, which won't be until June.
How did I get these holes ?
After a great many questions, it was determined that this condition was because of my being born 3 months early. At least it wasn't something I did or could have avoided.
The surgery will be done with lasers to weld the holes shut and retain the integrity of my eye.
Looking forward to getting this done as soon as possible.

I heard about this from a friend of mine who had this type of eye problem and good thing you caught it immediately ... I would get that surgery done ASAP. I wish the best of everything in this due process of your eye condition.

Man, that's an unfortunate and, I assume, unsettling thing to hear. Still, hopefully the surgery will fix things. Best of luck, my friend.

hondobrode, so upsetting to hear this. Best of luck with the stress and worry between now and June. That's sometiems the worst part of anything medical, because you just want to get it done. Here's hoping you may even be able to get an earlier date for the surgery. Always check for cancellations. Take care of yourself, amigo.

Thanks so much Hal !
Yeah, I'm not crazy about any of it, but have always kept a pretty close eye on my health, much like good preventive maintenance on my vehicles.
An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure and all that.
