Ummmm...honestly Super-hero comics are pretty inherently dumb. And the more you try make them "realistic" the dumber they are.

Once you accept a person flying in the air without a plane , the rest is easy.

Which part of the conclusion? Octopussy. Ozzy's plan was absurd.

Which part of the conclusion? Octopussy. Ozzy's plan was absurd. It was! I'd say it was supposed to be, but that doesn't really matter when it comes to enjoyment. I loved everything about Ozymandias. He's one of my favorite comic book characters. I didn't like the part at the end with Sally Jupiter, but that might just be because I didn't like Sally Jupiter and thought Owl Man was a little bland. Did I miss something deep? It was the only part of the book I really didn't like.

In that Hercules panel I like how they didn't even bother to try to make it look like he's pulling something but just drew him in a kind of muscle-man pose.

During the 'Court of Owls' story arc, Batman found out that Nightwing had been chosen to be one of the Court's Talons, and had a special compound implanted in a tooth that would let the Court control him, or something. So does Bruce sit Dick down and explain this, maybe offer to have Alfred remove the tooth for him? Naah. . .

I still can't believe this saw print. I of course wouldn't touch a Kevin Smith written comic with 100 foot pole while wearing a HAZMAT suit, but its evil presence still caught my attention. Thanks, internet!

I hope it doesn't put anyone off the title since it is an excellent anthology of old horror comics from the 50's, but the latest issue of Haunted Horror features a story begging to be mentioned in this thread.
Reading Murderer's Row from The Thing #5 (1952) left me wondering if I could have been concussed without realising it. A woman works in a wax museum. At the end of her shift on her first night on the job, a man offers to escort her home. That man changes into the Mr Hyde waxwork from work and clubs a man to death for daring to ask if he knows where the railway depot is. Woman flees. Next morning, same woman reads headline "Salesman Murdered Brutally Clubbed Near Depot". Her thoughts on the matter? "Maybe... it could have been someone else". She returns to work. This time, a wax figure resembling John Wilkes Booth offers to share a cab with her. She accepts because, hey why not? Booth shows off his antique pistol, is asked by the driver to put it away, and responds by shooting the driver in the head. The next panel divulges that "Elsa slept off that experience like a bad dream". And then she returned to work a third time.

I was totally thinking when I read this that it was pretty much impossible to punch someone with the express intent to remove 1 particular tooth... never mind that the person is trying to avoid it (though it was pretty sudden, so many Dick didn't dodge/roll with it/etc.
