The first arc of Dead Man Logan was, the second one (#8-12) not so much. It offered an interesting and amusing view of the whole Mysterio plot, the one which gave birth to the character. It was as much based on the villain as the hero's POV.

Bought on the 13th, shipped the following day, received on the 5th via USPS International Economy + Correos. Second LS order to arrive (on time) out of four; so far one arrived well outside the estimated delivery window and another didn't at all. Not much luck with the post and MyComicShop so far, for what might be the best overall service around: Wrapping up some contemporary series. Hellions isn't doing so well with the new artist, Old Man Logan makes 36 out of 50, not really interested in the other 14 issues between #34 and #47. X-Men is finished and completed now.

Just picked up this week's new releases, including Immortal Hulk 50, a staggering conclusion to a really epic four year run (well, slightly more than four years, but really that was the fault of the pandemic). I genuinely think this is the best series Marvel have put out in years, and the best Hulk series since Peter David left the book. Really well written horror, and some great character stuff.

recent purchases:
Michel Rabagliati's Paul à la Maison, thanks to RR's review of nearly one year ago. I'm still undecided as to whether or not I'd like to read one or two of the earlier volumes first but bought this one on impulse when I saw it today.
volumes 4, 5, & 6 of the Lemire/Sorrentino Gideon Falls - I read the first three volumes a couple years back, I think it was, but stopped there, feeling ambivalent about continuing the series: loved Sorrentino's artwork but Lemire's story felt derivative and uninspired at times. However, when I saw volume 6 in the comic shop the other day and realised that this was the final collection of the series, I said, what the hell, I made it half-way, might as well finish the thing.

Bought on the 11th, shipped the same day, received on the 29th via Asendia + Correos. Third LS order to arrive (fastest yet) out of five: I wasn't planning on getting more USMs, but I reconsidered buying more Ultimate Comics. Case in point: Completing "Natural Resources" and starting the Cap mini.

As much as I didn't care for him the first Ultimates story line I actually really liked the Ultimate Captain America mini series.

I liked the first, the second one too (not as much though). Hickman's initial run was uneven, but had some of the best sequences I've read.
The cap mini I must admit I don't recall. I bought based on the rating I saved and finding a good price for the other three issues (I know $3 a piece for VFN copies isn't a good deal for most around here, but I haven't seen 1$, or .50p, bins since 2011).

Bought on the 26th, shipped on the 29th, received on the 10th via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed + Correos. Comicana (13th order): "Completing" Next Men. Completing the Ultimate Cap mini. Nice two-parter from McKeever. The first USM story-line I liked in its entirety. Not all Clone Sagas have been bad. I already bought half of these recently, but one was a reprint and the other wasn't as good a copy as the others. Bought on the 21st, shipped on the 21st, received on the 25th via ? (to UK address). UK eBay seller:
I got that HC for about two fivers (including postage).

I picked up these less than cover price, so I'm set up to ish #20. These books have a TONNE of variants that I couldn't be bothered with, there are just too many so I only got the better ones for Issue #1
