Welcome to CCF kirby101. I really like that Spider-man GN by Wrightson.

With so much detail, I wonder how many pages Wrightson could do a day in his prime?

With so much detail, I wonder how many pages Wrightson could do a day in his prime? I would like to know the answer to that question too.

So far I think I have three of the posted issues signed by Wrightson.

How do you know, were you there? He said many times in interviews he couldn't handle a monthly book for any extended time on his own. And he never did to my knowledge

Thought I would pick something from one of the DC horror anthology series like House of Secrets but found I couldn't resist choosing this one out of nostalgia, as it was a favourite of mine as a youngster. I haven't clicked "like" for anything on this thread because I would have to "like" nearly all of them!

Not a bad cover in the bunch, but one of the reasons I didn't pick one from the original Swamp Thing run (I was enamored of two in particular) is that I hate the "trade dress" on DC books from that era. Way too big and left artists that squarish box as the only space to use. Thank Cthulhu that they had a great logo for Swamp Thing then. They could have used this one, which really captures the feel of the character: (NOT AN ENTRY... MAY NOT EVEN BE CONSIDERED ART!)
