Here's a pic of the collected editions I now own. Just started getting these in the last few years, and building and reading this collection is a slow process for me.

I don't take any particular pride in most of my collected editions -- they're usually just books I couldn't afford in the original format. But I am proud of this particular shelf:

They come in hardcoversThey are printed in floppies first, then collected in tpbs, and then collected again in these massive Saga editions. I used to be a floppy purist, but the quality of the Saga editions is incredible, and Usagi has so many appearances in other books that it's just far easier to read them in this format. The Special Edition reprints that Thoughts & Images / Fantagraph era, and the Saga Editions reprint the rest.

I have shelves and shelves of Archives, Masterworks, Showcases, Essentials, TPBs, and comic strip collections. This photo from a couple of years ago should give you a rough idea: And there's a third bookcase not seen here full of the things. If I can get somebody with a camera to take more detailed pix sometime soon, I'll post 'em here. Cei-U! I summon the good stuff!

This is no longer accurate as everything is packed up now as part of the great upstairs/downstairs room swap we are doing as apr tof the house remodel, but this was some of the collected edition stuff I had... the shelves to the left of the spinner is all the collections that are sorted by creator. I had others sorted by character on different shelves. In a month or three when I get the new room set up and everything displayed again, I will do a new round of pics. -M

You obviously don't suffer from OCD anyway. Not only do you not use Marvel's (old) numbering system for your Masterworks volumes, putting them in numerical order, you also have DC and Dark Horse volumes in the middle of your Marvel collection!

Pretty cool pics, for sure. I was pleased to add another Masterworks to my collection yesterday. Hopefully my next pic will have at least several more.
