Daredevil #355 ... Interesting story here and one more thing ... I noticed on the Cover that they incorporated the Daredevil Logo on it and I like that touch. I need to my local comic book store and acquire a cheap cop(ies) of this run because this run has great art and a whole lot more.

I need to my local comic book store and acquire a cheap cop(ies) of this run because this run has great art and a whole lot more. Most of the issues sell about $3-5/issue. The Spider-Man issue is about $7-8.
Skip #358. It is a fill in/tie in to Onslaught/Heroes Reborn by Joe Kelly & Pascual Ferry. It has nothing to do with this run.

I'll try and read this with you Michael. This is the only DD, I own because it's intrigued me enough to buy it on it's own merit. And remember really enjoying it. Any other DD I have is because someone said "so and so" on the creative team makes it great. And other than the infamous "Born Again" story it's the only one that really was true to people's claims. I agree in your initial post (though at the time I had no comparison, as this was literally my first DD) that it was nice a light-hearted and fun. I think that's why most of the other DD stuff I've read, doesn't appeal to me. If I get some time this weekend, I will try and catch up with you and post some thoughts upon reading them.

There is an Epic Collection that picks up from #365 and runs through #380 so maybe (maybe) Marvel is inching closer to reprinting this particular run in some format.
I've always heard good things about Kesel's run (though I can't do it in less than a parsec) but have yet to read it. I think it's usually overlooked for a number of reasons. Between Miller and Bendis, it seems to be overshadowed by Chichester's work (or disaster depending on your POV). Heck, sometimes I think Kevin Smith's limited time gets more attention than this run. Also, it features a more light-hearted tone, which is enjoyable to see but doesn't fit a typical or even a casual reader's perception of DD being grim and gritty and dark and depressing and tragic and so on and so forth. Because it doesn't fit the popular view of the character, it gets shuffled to the sidelines which I do think is a shame.
So I'll be following along for the reviews and insights, thanks for your efforts and work.

Did a bit of research. Looks like these 13 issues would probably cost at least $50 to acquire online. I may have to be content with just enjoying this thread for now.

That sounds like a passing resemblance to the netflix show... I wonder if this is where they started from? I highly doubt it. This run gets ignored. I thought Netflix DD borrowed heavily from Miller & Bendis. I only watched a few episodes. A bit too violent for my tastes. Although I did like the hallway fight scene.

If you want to break it into story arcs #353-357 was one arc. #358 was a fill in. #359-362 was the next arc. #363-365 was the last arc.

Cover art by Cary Nord. Script by Karl Kesel. Pencils by Cary Nord and Rick Leonardi (p. 11-15), inks by Matt Ryan. Matt & Foggy meet with Hyde. Matt says he may get him off the murder charge but not kidnapping. While Hyde is evil this time he was innocent. He was helping Angela kick a drug habit. Later Karen meets Matt at his new office & runs into Rosalind who "hints" she knows Karen's past (in adult films). Then Rosalind, Matt & Foggy meet with Liz Osborn because Angela was killed in an Osborn warehouse. Liz tells them there are hidden entrances built into Osborn warehouse from Norman & Harry's Green Goblin days. Later a delivery man attempts to kill Rosalind & Misty Knight (from Power Man & Iron Fist) stops him. Misty's office is in the same building. Rosalind hires Misty to find a hidden entrance in the warehouse. Misty & DD meet at the warehouse. Misty finds the entrance to a tunnel. She leaves to report back to Rosalind. DD goes into the tunnel & finds the Enforcers at the other end in another warehouse. A fight breaks out and just as DD seems to be winning...he is literally shocked from behind by the EEL!

The mystery of Angela Parrish's murder gets more complicated. We see Rosalind is a hated woman who has a horrible personality. Kesel broadens DD's world by bringing in Misty Knight from the Power Man & Iron Fist series. DD also faces off against the Enforcers (old Spidey villains). I like seeing Matt & Karen together & Foggy & Liz as a couple. Next issue: the conclusion of this arc.

Hm, there may be something to this Marvel snubbery after all. #354 is the only issue of this entire run available on Marvel Unlimited.

I see what you mean about Kesel's dialogue being fun. "I thought you were dead" is a great bit of funny dialogue to say to a villain like that.

Cover art by Cary Nord. Script by Karl Kesel. Pencils by Cary Nord, inks by Matt Ryan. Daredevil wakes up chained in the warehouse. Each of the Enforcers take a turn beating him. Meanwhile Foggy has to start Hyde's trial without Matt. Karen arrives home from her new job. Meanwhile The Eel tells DD he killed Angela to get back at Hyde for trying to take over the Enforcers from him. DD tricks the Ox to fight the Eel who impersonated Snake Marston - see art from previous issue - to get control of the Enforcers. This causes Ox to break one of the chains holding DD. While the Enforcers fight each other Misty shows up & helps DD out of the remaining chains. Back at the trial Rosalind tells Foggy to place all blame on Matt for not being there. Instead Foggy defends Matt. Then DD shows up with the Eel & the case gets dismissed. Later Rosalind, Matt & Foggy celebrate their victory. Matt explains his absence & bruises by saying he was mugged. Later when Hyde is released he comes across the couple DD saved from suicide in #353. DD tells Hyde he has called in favors from cops, waitresses, & others he has saved. If any of them see Hyde they are to call the law firm & report it. Hyde leaves frustrated. DD heads home & the last page shows Karen at her job as Paige Angel...host of a talk show on WFSK radio.
