The Federation is a no brainer for #1... as long as you're not in star fleet, life is pretty grand. If you're looking for excitement, I'd take the Hyborean Age (though one's life might be a bit short). Astro City would probably be up there too.. seems like all the excitement and variety of Marvel and DC in a safe compact package.

When I was a kid I would have loved to have lived in any of the Westerns I watched on TV.
I also would have loved to live on ERB's Mars. As an adult I still wonder what it would like to live on Mars.
Being an Arizona native i was always partial to Westerns. Enjoyed High Chaparral, Wild Wild West, Lone Ranger, Cimmarron Strip, Have Gun, Will Travel. Kind of vicariously was able to live the western lifestyle when Grizzly Adam's was on television as during the winter they would film just outside of Payson in the mountains here as it was easily accessible and resembled the original filming sites. My grandfather did night security and during Thanksgiving and Christmas break me and my 2 brothers and 2 cousins would get to "camp" out on the set site in the security trailer. Then each morning have breakfast when the crew would come in to set up and get to hang around and watch the filming for awhile. Got to meet the cast of Dan Haggerty, Denver Pyle, Don Shanks and of course Ben the Bear Have Gun Will Travel is an excellent series. Part film noir, part existentialism, part Western. Boone is the man in it.

It was High Chaparral and Alias Smith and Jones for me as a kid. I dreamed of living in a house with the Cannons and wished I could ride with Buck. But having a quick draw like Kid Curry now that was the path to a successful life.

I lived for The Wild Wild West as a kid. The combo of James Bond with western hit ever synapse in my young noodle. It is right up there with Batman as a formative experience.

One of my all-time favorites. It boggles me that it was cancelled, not because of low ratings, but because the network thought it was too violent. 1) Star Trek - TOS circa Wrath of Khan- Search for Spock 2) Robotech - any of the eras really 3) The Young Kingdoms & Melnibone' - for me, the stories of Elric remain a huge influence.

StringI just wanted to comment on your understanding of Wild Wild West, Starring Robert Conrad and Ross Martin ... I was dumbfounded over the CBS decision to cancel it after 4 seasons because it was too violent; and I so mad when it was cancelled it broke my heart when they did.

Many a night were my dreams spent flying the Robotech fighters in the starry sky and wondering what the hell did Rick see in the childish Minmei. Lisa was the intelligent, beautiful and hot woman along with Miriya Parina, Max Sterlings wife

1. Jodoverse Places like Golden Planet or City-Shaft alone are just awesome, huge and entertaining as hell. These are visited frequently. Others, and there are many, only ones. Diversity in characters and eco-system/nature is breathtaking. [If you are not familiar, Taris from SW KOTOR comic book somewhat resembles a combination of Golden Planet and City-Shaft. Yes, even Jedi masters checking out news on tv, and ordinary people shouting at and spitting at young padawan accused of murder, that's a direct reference - nice.] 2. Hyborian Age It's the might of a sword-hand that makes it right there, you like it or not. 3. Westeros Adapted in comics by Daniel Abraham and Tommy Patterson. Unlike their TV counter-parts didn't jump the shark (Arya-Terminator, Daenerys-New Found Humanist etc), and it hopefully never will. George RR Martin being a comic book fan himself has a hand in this, and it shows. Suffice to say, scenery, buildings, ornaments, arms being not limited by a budget look spot on.

Name the top 3 fictional universes you would want to live in. Can be from comic books, novels, movies, TV, cartoons, games...
My choices:
1. Star Trek's The Federation. ST:TNG time period. 2. Archie Comics Riverdale. 3. Happy Days 50's America. Hmmm... I really can't think of any better ones, so I'm gonna steal yours.
