I felt it was time for an update. What do you think?
Also, we lost a little resolution. My software is strictly middle of the road. Anyone using Photoshop or some other top flight program that could correct this?

Hmmm... not sure about it. I think I prefer the original. (I don't like change.)

I like the new, more dynamic angle of the logo, but on my laptop (which is set to its recommended screen resolution of 1366 x 768) the image resolution isn't high enough and that makes it look far too pixelated as a result. If I was a newcomer to this forum, seeing a banner of inadequate resolution like that would make me think "amateurs!". Maybe that sounds harsh, but first impressions mean a lot and poor resolution, pixelated images on the internet are a real bug bear of mine.
Didn't we have someone here who sorted the banner out originally, and who is a bit of a design/photoshop wiz? Could they not have a crack at it? I love your intent here, shax, and the new angle of the logo is a definite improvement, but the execution makes it look shoddy.

I've taken the image as far as free software can take it and would love assistance from anyone with higher quality photo editing software.

I use Gimp and Inkscape a lot for photo manipulation and poster making. Is that what you're using? I could maybe have a look at it, but I'd obviously need the original files. Maybe you could e-mail 'em to me, if you want me to take a look, that is.

I like it, but on my screen there's a blue rectangle to the left of the banner. Looks like my screen is too wide; the banner doesn't fill the whole space. I think I've managed to get a screen shot:

The earliest I'll be able to have a look at these will be on Sunday. So, I'll let you know what I can do with 'em by Monday, latest.

Chrome
PS: that screen shot shows the window maximized. If I reduce it to normal size, the blue rectangle is reduced to a thin blue stripe.

Refresh now and see if it's better. Yes! You fixed it while I was editing my last post. Now the banner is centered and the background Avengers page is visible on both sides of it.
