I like it pending fixing the pixelation issue already identified.

Did some more work on the banner tonight. Resolution is better, and we tried a new background. Confessor and I will continue to tweak.

I wouldn't bother with it and I liked this one better than the previous two banners that were up there. Confessor and you did a great job with it. This is very nice and more streamlined looking.

Mmmmh... I hate being a sourpuss, but I preferred the previous one. The CCF letters were not as sharp, but they were in perspective; here's they're flat while the rest of the image is not.
Were I Cei-U, I would summon the curmudgeon!

Were I Cei-U, I would summon the curmudgeon! The visual effect I applied is the same as the last time. Might just be the angle and/or the font type that makes it seem to "pop" less. My initial reaction to the new font (it was Confessor's idea) was unenthusiastic, but it's really really grown on me since then. I think it was more the shock of change than an actual qualitative judgment that drove my initial reaction, but it might help to see the two side-by-side:

Roquefort Raider, here's what happens if I unrotate the new logo and expand it out over the bullet like the old one: I personally prefer what we have up now, but I'm open to input.

Yeah, the current one with the angled letters looks more like the original DC bullet, which is of course the best look possible.
It could indeed be the angle of the letters that make them less visibly 3D in fact, zooming on them does show that they are not flat as I initially thought; they are ondeed skewed as they should. I assume you treated the entire image (CCF letters, circle and banner) in one go? If so, there's little to be done; it's just an optical illusion.

The question is what. I can try to exaggerate the angle of the letters apart from the bullet and banner, but I think that's going to screw up the horizon line.

Roquefort Raider, here's an attempt to exaggerate the angle of the letters, independent of the rest of the logo. It doesn't look right because, essentially, the letters and the rest of the logo have two separate origin and terminal points. I also tried angling in the opposite direction for contrast. That didn't work too well either.

The question is what. I can try to exaggerate the angle of the letters apart from the bullet and banner, but I think that's going to screw up the horizon line. That's the way I'd go at it too; selecting the four corners of a skewed box around the CCF letters, then pull the top right and bottom left corners a little closer together. On the left side, the C is already pretty close to the circle; it's harder to make the letter bigger. Of all the times to be without my computer and my beloved Photoshop!!! By the way, good work, shaxper. Your perfectionism does you credit!
