I did a makeover for Marvel's with a total redo for Avengers. I want to let everyone knows that I'm a fan of Isis and Captain Marvel and I wanted to have a Comic Book featuring these characters together and make it work this time with the right creative team in place this book could do well in today's market. We have several Captain Marvel's fans here and I'm one of them too; and with Isis this could help DC Comics to relaunch her and make her a winner in my book. To be, honest with you ... I don't know what creative team would handle this task? Chris Samnee on art:

Superman: Through the Years
Set outside of mainstream continuity, Superman: Through the Years would cover the character's life from the '30s through to the mid '80s. Clark Kent and Superman would both be the true identity, and this series would explore how both facets of the character compliment and cannot exist without the other. This Superman would be grounded — more powerful than, say, the Fleischer Superman, but less powerful than even the early post- Crisis Superman. Superman: Through the Years would be very Bronze Age in tone — serious, but not humourless; continuity-conscious, but not inaccessible — though it would dip into Silver Age-style silliness and Copper Age-style grittiness on occasion, when the story calls for it. I'd get Kerry Gammill as penciller and Karl Kesel as inker. The colouring would be done with paint/inks, in a method similar to the one used for the Tintin books. I'd also have it published in a large magazine format.

Probably something creator-owned, as I really wouldn't want to jump through the hoops to do work-for-hire and have to cater to the creative vision of someone else either in editorial or corporate. If I were to do something for Marvel/DC, I'd prefer it to be something like an Elseworlds/Tangent/Just Imagine type deal where there is complete room to reimagine something.
Something like these...
Carter Hall and Kent Nelson as pulp archaeologists recovering artifacts of power (Nth metal wings and the accouterments of Fate) in the 1920s or 1930s aided by their scientific adviser Ray Palmer who then manipulates artifacts made of white dwarf metal to joint their adventures. Vandal Savage would be the immortal foe behind the curtain manipulating events and working against them, and Arion of Atlantis as a re-occuring guide type figure who helps point the way for our heroes.
An episodic tv style Phantom Stranger series with a concept like Touched by an Angel where he meets and helps people but each story is about the people he helps not the Stranger himself.
A pulp style Ulysses Bloodstone, monster hunter series
Madripor in the 1920s featuring an ensemble cast of characters including an Inhuman refugee from Attilan in the Himalayas, the sorcerer supreme of the twenties, the Iron Fist of the twenties, Namor, Logan (i.e. Wolverine), Deviants, Eternals, an antecedent of Hydra tied to the Thule Society, etc.
but more likely something of my own creation as creator-owned.

Dinosaur Romance.I mean, obviously. Someone has already filled (ba-dum) that much-needed void. With law firms and helicopters.
