I hear the coloring has already changed a little since Whedon took over as director. Anyways, I hope this doesn't turn out to be a trainwreck like Batman v. Superman was.

I still think it looks more like a videogame than a movie

I just saw this and I'm very lukewarm on this and I'm mildly disappointed that it's has a limited cast. It's has Cyborg and I'm no fan of this character at all.

DC has really tried to make him a staple of Justice League for the last few years. Don't believe it's worked.

Looks absolutely dreadful, IMHO. All dark pallette and angst again, lots of terrible dialogue and posing. And I hate the Flash running effects - stupid and awful

Marv Wolfman and George Perez created him and defined him; but, as part of the Titans, which was a family, more than a team. The JLA is a team and he has basically been little more than the token black guy, who didn't require royalties to be paid to Tony Isabella. I also say Jim Lee's redsign is fugly.

What I really don't get is if they're going to kill off Superman, why not use Steel? He works alot better than Cyborg in the role of tech wizard, and he's still a black guy Then Cyborg can be with the Titans where he belongs. Also, how serious can they really expect people to take the character after Teen Titans Go? FAR more people have seen that than any other version of the character.

Also, Steel would basically be seen by general audiences as a knockoff of Iron Man from Marvel. They aren't necessarily wrong about that either.

I've never seen Steel as that... not every Armored hero is an Iron Man knock off... and he doesn't shoot things, he has a hammer... totally different.

Steel is still tainted by the Shaquille O'Neill movie and Hollywood has long memories of movie flops. Steel will likely never appear on the big screen again as long as the Shaq movie is in the living memory of Hollywood execs.

True, but isn't he a gearhead that is good with technology and built his own super suit? I just think it would be cutting it too close. And yeah he uses a hammer, but he can still shoot projectiles from his suit.

If my indifference to this movie were measured in inches, it would reach from here to Alpha Centauri.
Cei-U! I stifle the yawn!
