I finally caught this when it was in stock at the library. As someone who liked the previous DCU movies apart from Suicide Squad...I thought this was poor.
I hate this version of Aquaman. His look, his personality, everything.
I don't like Cyborg in the JL and his constant self-pity bogged down an already depressing atmosphere.
Why would an exploding Parademon leave behind an imprint of the three boxes?
I'm fairly familiar with New Gods lore, but I thought the Mother Boxes were merely a means to activate the Boom Tubes. Was this "Unity" stuff in the comics at all? I mean, I don't mind if they changed it for the film, I'm just curious.
I expected to see Darkseid at some point--his omega symbol was shown in BvS. I thought for sure we'd at least get a post-credit scene were he punishes Steppenwolf for his failure.
Wonder Woman was a highlight of BvS, but here she's just another body.
I did like the Flash, even though he resembles no version of the Flash that I read about in the comics. His were the only attempts at humor that were actually funny.
But in the end, I just didn't care about anything that I was watching.
The preview of the Injustice League was the best part.

I just saw this too. I liked it.
I am not an extremely critical audience for superhero films. It was kind of funny, it had some decent action sequences, it had a few actors I liked. It was a vast tonal improvement on the last couple of superman movies. Generally enjoyable, pretty much all the way through.

It's happening. The fabled Zack Snyder's Justice League will come to HBO Max in 2021. It's weird how much money they're putting into it, I'm guessing they're hoping it will help bring in subscribers.

It's because there is no actual Snyder cut, he needs $20-30 million that he is getting to create an actual Snyder cut. This will not be a version of the Justice League movie pre-Whedon as most fans calling for a Snyder cut want, but a post-Whedon retcon that is being made with enough money to create a new indie film but instead is trying to retro-create a non-existent version of the film to capitalize on the release the Snyder cut hype and use it as marketing to drive subscriptions to HBO Max in a streaming war gambit. I wonder if there will be a"release the real Snyder cut" movement dividing fandom when fans realize this isn't what they have been clamoring for for the last 2-3 years. -M

]I wonder if there will be a"release the real Snyder cut" movement dividing fandom when fans realize this isn't what they have been clamoring for for the last 2-3 years. This is exactly why you shouldn't give into fan demand. Because most times, they have no clue what they actually want
