Not sure if it is something with my computer that I alone am experiencing, or whether it's an issue with the site or with Probaords, but usually when I click on the new icon for a thread it takes me to the new posts. Tonight it is not doing that, it is taking me to the top of the most recent page in the thread, but not to the new posts. It's not dong it from the Proboards dashboard that lists all the threads I have participated in or have notifications for in all my proboords accounts, it's not doing it form the forum home page when I click on a thread and it's not doing it in each forum where all the threads in that forum are listed when I click on the new icon.
Anyone else experiencing this or have insights in things I can try to correct it?

Nothing reported on the proboards support forum, and I haven't been fiddling with the site settings. Let me know if the problem continues.

It's still doing it. I am not sure what the deal is but it must be on my end. I've tried cleaning the cache and deleting cookies, checked my settings on chrome, checked the settings for Proboards, signed out and signed back in for both Chrome and Proboards, restarted the computer and I am running out of ideas what to try to fix it (my Luddite nature limits my scope of options here).

Not quite what you're experiencing, but possibly related. Let me know if it continues into tomorrow.

Just logged and the first time I tried to get to a new post, it did the same thing, took me to the top of the page not the current post.

Checking in on proboards support, there's still no one on any other proboards site reporting this phenomenon.

I'm sure it's probably something on my end, I just am not sure what to try to fix it.

I'm sure it's probably something on my end, I just am not sure what to try to fix it. -M Okay, let's look at a few things... 1. Have you been logging in and out of your proboards account and viewing the boards as either a guest or under a different username? This might mess with proboards' knowledge of what you have and have not seen. 2. Have you recently upgraded or changed anything on your computer -- browser, plug-in, operating system, maybe even an antivirus that has a browser plug-in? 3. Have you recently uninstalled anything from your computer that somehow intersects with your browser? 4. Have you recently been viewing the site from a location that you don't normally use? These are all shot in the dart questions. I've never seen anything like this before. If none of this gets you anywhere, and the problem doesn't go away, you can always talk to proboards support directly.

i'll give it a go. We just bought a new desktop that we are setting up tomorrow, so I am going to wait until it is set up as I won't be using the laptop for anything except writing (and reference while writing) after that, so I'll see if it carries over to the desktop.
