Lynda Carter Wonder Woman (to me, the tv version will always be Wonder Woman rather than the comic version--an exception would be the Golden Age stories) Netflix Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Punisher (I liked Thomas Jane as Punisher as well) Slade Wilson on Arrow Julie Newmar Catwoman Aaron Taylor-Johnson Quicksilver Hugh Jackman Wolverine

Calista Flockheart's Cat Grant. Oh My God yes. Good one! Loki was a good call, too. Rebecca, although decidedly NOT Enid, from Ghost World. And I liked the movie version of Harvey Pekar better as well.

Apocalypse in X-Men TAS. Voiced by the awesome John Colicos and provided with some of the best villainous lines in cartoon history.
"I am Apocalypse. Look upon the future and tremble!"
"I am the rocks of the eternal shore. Crash upon me and be broken!"
"Evil? I am not malevolent. I simply AM. Which soon will be more than I can say for you."

Definitely Deadpool. I absolutely hate Deadpool in the comics, but liked the movie. Go figure.
I'm a Daredevil fan; Having said that, Foggy Nelson was nothing more than background filler until the Netflix show.

Iron Man. For a character that was always supposed to be a sophisticated playboy, Tony Stark never had real charm until he borrowed Robert Downey Jrs.' The wit, the feet of clay, the sly delight in upending expectations and breaking the rules, and the very human flaws Downey brought to the character elevated it above what was on the page.

Chris Evans as Captain America. Everything from portrayal of his superhuman skills to his portrayal of Steve's principles and values to his relationships with Natasha (platonic, love it) and Bucky to romances with Peggy and Sharon Carter. Steve was never this interesting to me before this. I always found the comic version interesting. All of what you're saying about the movie version comes straight from decades of comic Cap, including his unshakable moral center, relationships / concern for his friends, anguish over Bucky, and romances. I find the journey from comic character to movie character was strongest with Cap, unlike so many MCU characters.

I agree with Ben's choice of Loki, a character I find tiring except as interpreted by Walt Simonson. I think both work well, particularly the spitting hatred Loki has for Thor, which you can find in endless issues of Journey into Mystery. I think the TV Supergirl is a horrible character--often suffering from producer/writer contradictions, hypocritical behavior (her treatment of Olsen as The Guardian, when she does not hold her equally human, equally capable of being killed sister to the same standard), and her attempts to be heroic, which often come off as sort of a-hole-ish.

Most of them are better in the movies. I will say Deadpool, Wolverine and Loki are standouts.

My Ghost Rider will always be Johnny Blaze (and even the pre-Zarathos Johnny Blaze), but I must admit I found the TV one (Robbie Reyes played by Gabriel Luna) more interesting.
Yes, a Ghost Rider without a motorcycle! With a bad CGI flaming head!
I don't know if it's the not-quite-clear origin that preserves a sense of mystery or the very believable nature of Reyes's guilt, but I looked forward to that character's appearances on TV more than I ever did Johnny Blaze's after a few issues.

Jessica Jones! (Although the actress who plays Jessica isn't quite working for me - I liked her as a heroin addict on Breaking Bad, but here she just comes off too sunny/happy to be an alcoholic tramua survivor. And she doesn't seem to have the natural smart-ass gene.)
But the Purple Man was way out of character in the Alias comics - he's not a sadist per-se, he's the ultimate embodiment of the bored, idle rich - and the TV show has him closer to the comics. I mildly disliked the comic but I'm really enjoying the show.

Hellboy. It's not that I don't like the source material. I just feel the film captured the source material faithfully AND enhanced it.
