Are there any TV or movie versions of comic book characters that you like better than their comic counterparts?
I'm partway through The Defenders at the moment, which is what made me think of this. I think the Netflix versions of Stick and Jessica Jones are more interesting than the comic versions (although I do like the comics too).

Loki, without a doubt!!!
The Punisher, too. The Jon Berthal one.

Netflix definitely made me like the Punisher a lot more. I was never a fan of the comic version because he didn't really seem like he was a superhero, or that he belonged in the world of superheroes. To me, he was a war vet with a bunch of guns -- basically, Rambo. The Netflix show added a lot of depth to his character.
I was also never really a big fan of the Avengers side of the Marvel Universe until the MCU came along. Growing up, it was all about the X-Men and Spidey. I thought Captain America was hokey and jingoistic. Iron Man was like a less-cool-looking version of the Japanese mech-suited anime characters I was fond of at the time. The Hulk was perhaps the only characters from that side of Marvel that I liked, probably having something to do with the TV show and Saturday morning cartoons.

Blade, because the comic medium fails to capture both the essence of the character as well as the frenetic energy that makes the movies so good (at least the first two). Putting Blade in a comic (especially a solo book) is the equivalent of trying to do a comic based on Neo from "The Matrix", where it's impossible to make dodging bullets look as cool as it does on the big screen.

As stated above: Blade and Batman the animated series are superb representations which I think of as the characters more so than the comics.
Incredible Hulk as a television series also works on so many different levels other than the comic version in making the Hulk much more human and logically believable if such an accident were to occur to someone in our "real" world. I had always read a Hulk comic here and there but after Bixby/Ferigno I began to go and actually seek out back issues and new issues.

Spy Smasher-way better than the Fawcett comics, except for his brainwashed battles against Captain Marvel. The Hulk, on the tv series. I never cared for the comics; too much "Hulk Smash!" "Puny Humans leave Hulk alone!" ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Bill Bixby made the concept work and connect you to the human aspect far better than the Banner of the comics. Batgirl-Yvonne Craig was much more fun than most of the comics.

I agree with Ben's choice of Loki, a character I find tiring except as interpreted by Walt Simonson. I also prefer the movie versions of Dr. Octopus, Wolverine, Iceman, and Magneto (McKellan, not Fassbender*). Also, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl and Calista Flockheart's Cat Grant. More if I think of 'em.
Cei-U! I summon the live action luminaries!

Chris Evans as Captain America.
Everything from portrayal of his superhuman skills to his portrayal of Steve's principles and values to his relationships with Natasha (platonic, love it) and Bucky to romances with Peggy and Sharon Carter. Steve was never this interesting to me before this.

Loki was brilliant in the Marvel movies.. he heads my list.
Karen Page and Foggy Nelson were far more interesting on TV than they ever were in the comics.
I haven't ever really read any Punisher, but they did a great job with him as well.
