Invited to be here after the CBR forum reboot in 2014. Like others I liked the classic comics section on the CBR forums. I like being here.

Like most of the other folks I migrated here from CBR. There was a board wipe and reboot and many of the forums were consolidated in a way I didn't care for, with more focus on newer books. There are a lot of fine new comics but I am more interested in discussing the books I loved in my youth (plus I'm usually way behind on new books if I ever do read them.)

I followed Shaxper here from the beginning. But I will say that in the CBR, I never formed relationships like I did over here. Shax. Confessor, Cei-U , Mrp and the rest of the gang are like brothers and cousins to me. I'm even beginning to warm up to Confessor,s rabbit. |

I came here when the Dojoboard Annex started. I was a member of the main Dojoboard before that, and found out about this forum that way.
I wasn't a member of CBR before the forum changed. I still do post occasionally at the Hellboy forum there.

A year and a half ago, I was looking up something or other on Curt Swan, and found a review of Action Comics Weekly that Shaxper did for his "Superman in the Post-Crisis Era" thread. I read the entire thread, and a handful of others, and checked back every so often to see if Shax had posted any new reviews.
About 6 months later, he posted a poll asking if he should do more Superman reviews or some other stuff that's totally not important other things he's interested in. I signed up so I could vote. Been hanging around ever since.
So blame him.
