Somehow making two kids dig their own grave while they wait to die wouldn't make me describe Batman and Superman as the world's finest.

I know it's all in fun (and I already know who I'm voting for, as I can't see that cover being topped (in my eyes)). . but I must admit I'm a bit disappointed that there appear to be so few LHS fans here. never noticed that before Bert, you've seen Hoosier X 's LSH thread? (You meant the Legion, right?) classiccomics.org/thread/2686/interlac-spoken-legion-heroes-threadI'm a big Legion fan, too, and I'm thinking there are at least a few others... Maybe Farrar and md62 , too? Plus, there's always seemed to have been lots of love for the Great Darkness saga. I too am a huge LSH fan. Can't wait for DC to bring them back. So wrong that they can't consistently go without getting cancelled every 10 years or so. Back in the 90's, I loved it, have the Legion of Super-Heroes, Legionnaires and L.E.G.I.O.N. I loved all three of those titles.

Never knew Superman had a daughter, even an "imaginary" one. Did she ever show up in any other comics later on? Since DC has all those parallel earths and different universes and so on, she must be out there somewhere.

^That cover rocks! But were any of those Teen Titans stories any good? Or are Cardy's covers the only bright spot

Never knew Superman had a daughter, even an "imaginary" one. Did she ever show up in any other comics later on? Since DC has all those parallel earths and different universes and so on, she must be out there somewhere. I don't know if she's actually out there, because she never really existed. In the story, Superman had married Lois Lane, and they had their daughter, Laney, who got her father's powers. One day at their home the Dimension Master showed up with a blast ray, to disintegrate Superman. The ray bounced off Superman, and hit Lois, killing her. After a ceremonial burial (after all, there was no body) Superman took Laney to his Fortress of Solitude. She entered a room she was forbidden to, and exposed herself to red kryptonite, which made her appear to disintegrate, like Lois. Superman found out that the Red K had actually sent Laney to another dimension, and he went there after her, and while there, rescued that dimension's Lois Lane. Overcome with emotion, he proposed, and she accepted. later, he ran into that dimension's Superman, and he wanted no part of being married to Lois. To solve the problem, they switched dimensions, so the single Supes could stay single and fight crime, and and the original Supes could have his family intact again.
