For those of you who catalogue or care to estimate, how many actual issues do you have? No collected trades or anything like that. Marvel Graphic Novels can count. Things like The Killing Joke can count. Treasury size comics can count. Can you put a number on your collection...
Officially, catalogued, I am at 1559. I only add an issue once I have read it and I probably have 200 or so to read so that actual number is likely closer to 1700+ books.

I had well over 10K when I sold off my Silver Age stuff before moving to Ohio. Over the last few years the number of comics I had had ballooned to over 9K again before my big purge at the end of last year. I got rid of about a third of the stuff I had at the end of last year, but because the remodel of the upstairs of the house is ongoing, I haven't had a chance to go back and get a better sense of what I still have numbers wise though, so I can;t give an exact number right now.

Lots. I honestly have no idea. I've never counted. And at this point it's very likely I never will.

Floppies Count
127 Entire Run of Grant Morrison's JLA 200-250 Assorted DC Comics Books 100-120 Assorted Marvel Comics Books 55 Valuable Books in my Safety Deposit Box
Around 517 or so ... estimation, later this year all of my Assorted Books will be sold and hopefully be done by end of April. I'm moving those 55 Books to my brother's safe to save on SDB costs later on this year and sell about 15 books by then. Haven't made my mind yet about the 40 books that I'll be keeping and I have to get that done by end of May.

I've got about 100 floppy disks for a really old computer. But if you mean comic books, I've got over 50,521 of those.

Before I offloaded it, I had about 25 long boxes. I never counted; but, figure on average of 200 per box and we are around 5000. That doesn't cover various fanzines and magazine-format comics, treasury editions and digest comics. I sold the valuable stuff (for peanuts) and donated the bulk of the rest to a boy's home.

I have just over 3000, but I'm planning on purging a large portion of that soon.

44 long boxes x 200 issues = 8,800 16 short boxes x 100 issues = 1,600 10,400 comics. My god.

Hm, I could probably work this out if my maths was better since the one I get is weekly, and there is 52 weeks in a year, times that by the monthly issue I buy, and the number of years I been buying, and add in the special edition issues they occasionally released... Maybe around 400? All 2000AD . Add another 300 maybe if count the ones my Uncle has given me on long term loan/to keep... he hasn't ask for them back and had them few months so any longer and im added them to my collection lol

Lots. I honestly have no idea. I've never counted. And at this point it's very likely I never will. Same here. Never felt the need to try and count. Currently at around 25 long boxes with shelves and shelves of collected editions.

I sold my collection of around 10,000 books last year. Wow. That's a major decision. They were in a storage space and we moved last year. There was no room at the new place for them, so they would always remain in storage. It was hard to see 40 years of collecting go, but I realized that being in storage I would not really have them to enjoy. Going to the storage space and dragging out long boxes just to look at some books was not practical or fun. And just being able to say I own a complete run of Conan, or Daredevil #4 and up was not enough to keep paying the monthly rent. It was hard, but time to let them go. Still a little sad about it to be truthful.

I have 30-ish long boxes... and I put the comics 2 to a bag with no boards, so probably more like 250 per box that way. then I've got 2 milk crates and a short box of stuff I haven't read yet ( maybe 400) and a giant tub of stuff I've read but not catalogued and put in said longboxes (probably another 400-500)... so maybe 7000? 8000? I have a list, but I use it to not buy duplicates more than count
