Friend of mine had the View Master DC superhero bucket set. It came in a plastic tub, about the size of a butter tub, with a viewer and several packets of View Master reels. I recall that it had the Batman tv show, Filmation Superman and some comic book stories, including a Shazam issue. Can't find a picture on the internet, though.

@md62 I had the same View Master gift pack. I got it for my birthday when I was 6 or 7--talk about one happy kid, haha! I remember mine had Batman, SUperman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and I think Captain Marvel. The view master was red and white.

I didn't have those Viewmaster slides, but I'm pretty sure I had the same shirt the kid on the canister is wearing. |

I think I had just a Spiderman view master reel. My brother may have had the Marvel pack. I really wish I had kept all that stuff now!

My little brother had the Fisher-Price Movie Viewer:  You popped a cassette into the viewer and turned a crank to advance or reverse the movie clip. One of the cassettes he had was the '67 Spider-Man episode The Witching Hour, with the Green Goblin. We wore it out! |

Continental Typewriter  My Grandfather used this typewriter for more than 30 years and after his death; he donated this relic to a museum in Vancouver B.C. that looking for this for a long time and they gladly accepted our gift to them. It was built around 1930 if my memory serves me well; it's a pretty heavy thing around 15-20 pounds and sure takes a beating and it's one of the most reliable typewriters around back then. My Grandfather got it used and it's was about 2 years old when he got this around 1938 three years before World War 2. This was many people used back in those days of typing out stuff for all kinds of correspondence. I even type out my family phone list on it and my Grandfather let me used it at the time. It was a fun machine to used and its has a charm of its own!

Smith and Corona Typewriters This typewriter was our family typewriter from 1968 to 1984 before it's got thrown away in the dumps because my Father made that decision. Everyone in our family is allowed to use it for anything our hearts desires. My Father brought it for us to use. Manual - No Electric Power. My First Typewriter - Electric Got this as a graduation present in 1978 and finally got let go of it in 2002 and gave it to a friend that can used it and he reconditioned it and still in use today. He is a pharmacist and he types up his customer names on an index cards and file them away and his wife does all the typing for him. Every brother had one for a gift from my parents for graduating out of high school and it's was useful for writing college papers back then. First Electric Typewriter ...

Lite-Brite Toy I have a neighbor friend when I was growing up in the 70's and he and I spent countless hours playing with this toy until I got out of Junior High. I know that some of you think that a 13-14 years old boy playing it - sounds a bit old to play this toy and I felt it was a great toy that let you uses your imagination runs wild using these pegs on a board and it's provided great joy in creating your lighted masterpiece. It is even more fun at night time when you have the lights turn off and all that. One time ... I even created a Superman Symbol using these pegs and later a Batman Symbol as well. I played with it for 5 years and by time I've entered 9th Grade; I've stopped playing with it and gotten tired of it.

Lawn Darts Eventually, these this toy was banned from city parks and picnic areas in our State and most places around the United States and were restricted for home use only and that's pretty sums up this particular toy. I've played it a couple of times and I didn't care for it because of my hearing handicap because you have to very attentive to be around this toy. I usually play this by myself using all four darts and it was a fun thing for me to. I did this most of the time when I used this toy. Popular in the late 60s and 70s and people still have them today for private parties and all that.

Highlights Kid Magazines  Everytime I go the Dentist ... I get a complimentary Highlight Magazine from my Dentist and I took home about 2 Magazines a year for 7 years from age 4 to 11; I've got 14 Magazines and by time that I've entered High School and during my sophormore year they had a magazine drive and I donated them to that drive and happy to. They were fun magazines, loaded of puzzles, great articles, pictures, and additional fun things to do. They still exists today and that the testament of their great pride and bringing countless joy to kids from 6 to 12. That's the age that they are tailored to and they did a good job of doing that. Anyway, my grandnieces and grandnephews get this magazine at home and enjoying it too. Highlights Childrens Magazines - Great Magazines for all kids from 6 to 12.
