Spaghetti again, because I made so much two days ago that even five adults couldn't finish it in one sitting.
Still yummy.

Manwhich tonight on bakery buns. Mustard is obligatory on manwhich. I've never done sloppy joes with mustard before but that actually sounds good. I might need to make some up this week.

Well when I was single I use to put mustard in the mix with the hamburger when it simmered. Now I just put it on my own sandwiches as some people in the family don't like it. Last time we made them I used Inglehoffer stone ground mustard. Soooo good. But I'm a bit of a mustard elitist.

I used to love bellpeppers, now I cannot stand them. I used to like stuffed green peppers. But when I was on my ship in the Navy they made stuffed green peppers way too often. Plus I had to work in the galley for 3 months so I had to make them as well as eat them. 30 years later and I'm still sick of them.

Went out to dinner with my brother and learned that my Dad is getting Full Dentures and this is the price he has to pay for not brushing his teeth. Had Grilled Chicken, Rice Pilaf, Steamed Veggies, and Garlic Toast. We both had Ice Tea for drink.

Barbecue Short Ribs, Coleslaw, Cornbread Muffins, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Lemonade to drink. I see from reading up on coleslaw and the pictures that Americans have once again destroyed a otherwise eatable food with mayo. In fact German coleslaw doesn't seem to much different than sauerkraut, which is the only eatable usage of cabbage, other than it's prepared as a side rather than a condiment. Though I'm sure while hot dogs and Reuben's wouldn't be the same, without sauerkraut it's probably a side dish itself in German cuisine. Though I digress. The main point is mayo destroys food like fanatics do religion.

Adam, I thought you were from the Midwest for some reason. And I've come around on coleslaw.

I was raised in St Louis and have lived in Oklahoma for the last 14 years. But I cannot stomach the taste, texture or smell of mayo or anything containing it. It's my kryptonite.

I guess it's just from growing up in the South, but someone having to look up coleslaw to know it's not for them is blowing my mind.

I've tried coleslaw, potato salad, tuna salad; all those foods otherwise ruined with mayo, but upon Mechagodillza's post I couldn't remember if cabbage was in coleslaw or not. And when u looked it up I learned how different American slaw is as opppose to the original incarnation of it and how similar it's stayed to the original in other countries.
