I've tried coleslaw, potato salad, tuna salad; all those foods otherwise ruined with mayo, but upon Mechagodillza's post I couldn't remember if cabbage was in coleslaw or not. And when u looked it up I learned how different American slaw is as opppose to the original incarnation of it and how similar it's stayed to the original in other countries. Very true indeed. You'll be surprised how many different varieties of coleslaw out there and some of them hardly use Mayo or not. I grew up eating coleslaw and my mother made lots of it. It's an acquired taste for me.

My wife made meatloaf last Sunday, and we had the leftovers for dinner tonight. It's an old family recipe of hers, and she bakes it in the oven when she makes it the first time.
For leftovers, I heat up a skillet and put some crust on the slices while reheating it, then I put it on whole wheat hamburger buns with some Swiss cheese and a little brown mustard. Occasionally I will make sautéed mushrooms and onions for them, but I took a nap this afternoon and was late getting started on making dinner.

Had an early dinner tonight because - I will be going to a friend's house to celebrate his birthday and we are having Strawberry Cheesecake for his birthday. I had Mongolian Stir-Fry at a Noodle House Place that I go to on occasions. It was very tasty and you can fill it with your favorite vegetables and fruits. I had it with Pork and Beef. I do this about 2-3 times a month for a special treat.

Now I've eaten my share of burgers and I've grilled any number of frozen or prepared burgers before as well but tonight marks the first time I've made my own and they came out pretty damn well. I seasons the beef with a little onion powder, a bit of garlic powder, salt, pepper, a bit of paprika, a dash of worcestershire sauce and a couple pinches of grated sharp cheddar cheese.

I lost power for 40 minutes - I was re-heating Barbecue Chinese Spare Ribs (from a place that I had lunch with a friend of mine), Chinese Stir-Fry, Fruit Cup, and Sourdough Rolls. I'm eating my dinner right now and thankfully my power came back on. This is the 3rd time this week that I lost power for 20-30 minutes each. Crazy! So, I just finish eating my dinner and sign off ...

Small House Pizza with Salad for dinner tonight - I had an early dinner today and skip lunch today. I went to a restaurant and they had this for a special for today. Very tasty indeed. Free Ice Tea that came with it. All this for $9.99 and that's includes sales tax.
