As do I -- the love part, that is. I've been known to eat it at least twice a week, too, though not lately. I'm about 4 blocks from one takeout place & maybe twice that from another.

Hmm, polish kielbasa and some potato wedges for me tonight when I got home from work. Leftover pizza from last night this afternoon for lunch.

What is Dragon Meets Phoenix? It's an upcoming inter-company crossover where Erik Larsen's green hero meets Jean Grey. Either that or a Chinese dish with chicken and shrimp. Bingo !

Tonight, I'll be taking the girls to one of our favorite restaurants -- a Japanese buffet called "Watami." It offers pretty standard American Chinese food (figure that one out), as well as an impressive array of sushi. Normally, the idea of sushi at a buffet would be terrifying to me, but I learned about the place while attending a conference on the Japanese American Internment years ago, where all these Japanese American survivors were going on and on about the restaurant (which was hours from where we were). If THEY thought it was good stuff, I knew I was in for a treat. Fortunately, it's only forty minutes from where we live, and we've been going there ever since. Even the kids love it.

Susan's out with former work mates tonight, and I was pretty busy with neurosurgeon follow up and physical therapy today. Called the Chinese place around the corner and got Dragon Meets Phoenix and a couple other dinners for the frig for whenever I'm hungry. I like doing that. I love Chinese food. I eat at least twice a week. We probably do too. There are 2 good places within a half mile and Pei Wei another mile away, but it means maneuvering the Mall traffic. instead of running out again, I'll order 3 or 4 meals at once and refrigerate them. I love doing that. As as a matter of fact, Susan got up before me this morning and picked around at some of it for breakfast. That's what it's there for. Help yourself. Relax and watch some tv in bed.

That sounds great Shaxper ! I'd make that drive for excellent food.

Nothing, I'm sure. Had a mushroom burger (thought from the menu description I was getting an annual mushroom burger, i.e a portobello, but instead it was a beef patty topped with mushrooms ... I very, very rarely eat beef, but it was free, so what the heck) with chips & fries & 3 glasses of light lemonade with strawberries at Red Robin as I continue to burn off the coupons various chains offer for patrons with birthdays who've signed up for such things. Should've gone with the Gardenburger or vegan Boca Burger, but there's a lesson learned. (Wish they still had a salmon burger, but lord only knows how long ago that went off the menu. Cheapskate me eats there only when it's free.)
Regardless, I'm full as a tick; supper will not be happening, I have no doubt.
Tomorrow is the last one -- a burger (no doubt I'll go with turkey or chicken; I don't think they offer a veggie) at Ruby Tuesday, by coincidence right next door to the Red Robin, though both are across town.

Spicy indian food.
Helps that I'm 25% tandoori meat myself, although it barely shows.

Can't speak for that particular restaurant, but the vast majority of sushi buffets I've been to were Korean-owned. In fact, I would make an educated guess that most sushi in America is served at either Chinese or Korean restaurants. Whether or not said sushi is authentic is another debate entirely.

Went to Applebee's and was surprised at how nice their grilled chicken and shrimp tasted. Was it the Cajun-style chicken and shrimp with potatoes on the cast iron skillet? I had that last weekend and it was surprisingly tasty. Yep It was tasty.
