Could be Ditko inked by Milgrom.... that would throw me a bit! I'm 90% convinced that's exactly what (or is that who?) it is. Cei-U! I spy with my little eye...

I broke my lackus fundus rule and got Machine Man #10-12 out of sheer enthusiasm, plus a Hulk crossover just before #10 which I think is also by Ditko. Ditko didn't draw the Hulk storyline featuring Machine Man and the Corporation (that was Sal Buscema on breakdowns, unimpressively finished by Jack Abel and Mike Esposito), but according to GCD he did ink Al Milgrom's cover to Incredible Hulk #235.

Somewhere in those latter-day Ditko stories for Marvel there's a crowd scene with dozens of superheroes. Spider-Man and Dr. Strange are there, but Ditko didn't draw them. He drew all the others, and may have left room for someone else (the inker?) to put them in, but he absolutely refused to draw them again. Spider-Man appeared in his black costune at the back of a panel in Rom #61. Jackson Guice was the inker who may have added Spidey.

My favourite of Ditko's latter day Marvel output was a Shroud story in Marvel Super-Heroes #7, nicely inked by Steve Leialoha.

Incredible Hulk #249 was an all-Steve Ditko issue cover and interior!
