Picked this guy up yesterday on Clearance at Walmart  Kinda got bit by the Nightwing bug and wanted a decent figure of him (thought about the full-size McFarlane version, but it didn't have his billy clubs)  While it's a nice figure, I find the design choice of him having bendable legs a bit odd considering that the rest of him isn't as posable (not sure if the original Super Powers figures or even Secret Wars were like this)  Overall, very pleased. Well worth the four bucks and is a wonderful little addition to my "mood shelf" on my bookcase  |

I've found Beetle (and Brainiac) in the wild but till looking for The Bug and Kilowog.

The fun for me with toys is finding them on the shelves and handling them before I buy them. I get no joy from preordering them, so I tend not to do so. In some ways I would rather go without than get it through mail order. It has severely limited my enjoyment of new Mego after the first Target waves, was a factor with the Marvel Retro 3.75 lines when out local stores never got the later waves before the line was cancelled, and is starting to factor in with the newer waves of Super Powers. Other people would rather get it, even if via mail order and some prefer mail order to hunting in stores or shows, but that's not me. I have enough stuff, I don't necessarily need to order more, but the experience of finding htem on the shelves is what makes it work for me. -M |
