Mrs. MRP is on vacation this week, so we took a ride out to visit my in-laws today, and there were 2 Walmarts and a Game Stop on our path. No luck at the first Walmart, but at the Game Stop I found Yellow Lantern Sinestro and Knightfall Tim Drake, and at the second Walmart in the town my in-laws live, I finally found a Kilowog. They also had Batwings on clearance for $5 so I picked another one up. Still no luck finding a Bug. The clerk at Game Stop said he saw one at another Game Stop about 40 minutes further form us, but we weren't up for driving out there on the chance they still had it.    -M |

I found a Bug today!!! Half Price Books had their Memorial Day Big Sale and I was there book and comic shopping, but there is a Wal Mart in the same shopping plaza, so I decided to poke my head in and check for any Super Powers or Megos since it is a couple towns over and I don't get there often, and they had 2 Bugs on the shelf. I grabbed one for myself. They also had a gold Superman, Kilowog, Manga Batman, Yellow Sinestro and Brainiac, but I passed on all that, having those I wanted and no interest in the Supes or Bats repaints.   -M |

My preorder from Amazon came this week. McFarlane Detective Comics #27 First Appearance Batman. This one is mixed quality but I am having so much fun posing this wired cape.  The neck peg design is ugly and limits its ability to look up leaving a huge gap. He's big and bulky plus his shoulders look weird. Not sure where Todd's team learned anatomy.    Remember that one panel from 1938 where Batman holds a wrench? Now we can recreate that at home! (Except the open hands can't grip the wretch.) Thanks Todd! |

We got a bunch of still carded Hot Wheels yesterday, spied this one and knew I had to have it. Only complaint is that it's more dark grey than matte black like how it is in Forever  |

My preorder from HasbroPulse came along with a delivery from BBTS. I enjoyed the start of Donny Cates run on Thor and thought these looked cool.   |

Was at Wal-Mart, doing my usual bi-weekly shopping and of course I had to go down the clearance section. Whelp, didn't leave empty handed...  I saw both Mikey and Donnie going for $15 (about almost half of what they're going for on Amazon) and I decided to go with Mikey because, well.. (looks at avatar)  Figure is quite nice overall (even coming with different Bandana ends to put in the two included heads) and is styled after how Mikey appears in the IDW series, even has little holsters for his Nunchaku and chained sickles (which for some reason I thought were supposed to be more realistic Nunchaku kind of like how Neca does it with their TMNT Ultimate figures?)  For the sake of size comparison, here's Mikey alongside Krang's Android Body (also by Loyal Subjects)  Very happy with the figure and feel like it's a good addition to my growing assortment of chachka on my book shelf  |

Whelp, went back to Wal-Mart yesterday to pick up a present for the anniversary of my dog's adoption and Donnie was surprisingly still there in the clearance aisle among all the graduation tat  Already I like Donnie's figure more, probably because he comes with neater accessories than Mikey (which is a stretch considering that aside from his extra hands, face, and bandana ends, all he has is his sickles. Also still confused that neither of them came with a slice of pizza)  Think my favorite inclusion is Harold's Gauntlet from the Micro Series  Though something I noticed that I found a bit odd was Donnie's steel shell (maybe referencing that he {Spoiler: Click to show}he dies and is brought back as Metalhead later? )  Donnie's also a little bit taller than Mikey, maybe about two inches or so?  Overall though, nice figure, happy that I was able to get it  |

Just now catching up with this old favorite thread, so much good stuff I don't know where to start. But congratulations to all on the great scores recently! I'm still always buying toys and have some newer stuff I'll try to get pictures of over the coming days, but here's a first batch to share. The majority of these are new, also some older ones in there I've just now removed from their packaging (much more fun!). The highlight for me was finding the "Ram Man" in the top right corner. It's from the Turtles of Grayskull mashup line and I just loved it the moment I saw it. Only to find out there are evidently two versions circulating randomly (all the retailers just have one generic listing), one with the translucent arms and legs like mine has, and another with solid colors. Finally got this one off of eBay for a good price and photo evidence it was the right one.  |

We went out to visit my in-laws yesterday and stopped in the Wallyworld there. I found this on clearance...  not a fan of Injustice (the game or comic) but it's a decent Dr. Fate figure for $10. -M |
