Didn't know where to put this on the forum. Just wanted to ask people here, especially the OGs, what they thought the coolest weapon or armament they've ever seen was. Could be comics, video games, toys, movies, whatever. I think a common one among general people on the street would probably be a lightsaber for example.
For me it's probably Captain America's shield if I had to choose one.

Ultimate NullifierThe Ultimate Nullifier has been described as "the universe's most devastating weapon".[2] As such, the Ultimate Nullifier has the ability to completely eliminate any target the wielder chooses, along with the user if his or her mind is not focused enough.[2] In the hands of a being with an extremely powerful mind, the Ultimate Nullifier can destroy entire timelines from beginning to end[3][6] or even erase (and paradoxically recreate) the entire infinite Marvel multiverse.[7] From Wikipedia Personally this is my favorite Hand Weapon - Bar None; it's puts the fear into Galactus and that's something into the hands of Reed Richards -- is something you've don't want to mess with!

I think nothing beats the understated elegance of a katana.

I'd have to go with a light saber (none in particular, any one will do)

Bruce Lee...any part of him was a weapon... barring that, Indy's whip or Excalibur would get the nod. -M

Not just any lightsaber for me, but specifically Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from Return of the Jedi. It's the first green lightsaber that we see in the film series, and it has the cool flashing LEDs and thin emitter design that gives it a unique look. A close second would be Daredevil's billy club. When it comes to martial arts weapons, I'm a big fan of staff/stick-type weapons, whether it's a bo/jo staff, escrima sticks, nunchaku, etc. Daredevil's billy club is like the mother of all staff weapons. Say what you want about the Affleck Daredevil movie, but I thought they did a great job in bringing the billy club to life.

Ash's chainsaw. I mean, he literally cut off his own possessed hand and replaced it with a chainsaw. If this is not the very definition of "hand weapon", then I don't know what is.
Hail to the king, baby.

Red 9 from Resident Evil 4. Which is really a Mauser c96 "Red 9". Named so because the Mauser C96 was modified to take 9mm ammo, and the stock on the gun used to store ammo was redwood so it would be recognizable from the original Mauser C96.

The Glaive, from Krull..... It looked dangerous as all hell; but, gets held back until the climax and still isn't the weapon that decides the combat. Kind of expected a bit more use out of it. Still love the film, though (apart from Peter Marshall's wooden acting). After that, it's the UNCLE Special.... That was one cool looking spy weapon! the updated model, from The Return of the Man From UNCLE was a nice; but, barely seen in the film. It never really even gets a decent close-up!
