Overall I think it looks good, but good god Jigsaw’s look is lame as hell.
It looks like he took a couple of cat scratches to the face.
And the goofy excuse of “we’re making it more realistic” doesn’t fly at all. This is a universe where dragons and mystical Hand ninjas have been established for gods sake. With Frank blowing away said mystical Hand ninjas at the end of Daredevil Season 2. I’d say that stuff is much more “out there” than a guy with a deformed face who happens to be savvy with a knife...

I don't mind his not being as grotesque as in the comic, but surely a few more visible scars would have been par for the course? |

The bar room brawl/shootout with Janis Joplin playing was great!

Finished it last night and really liked it for the most part. The last 15 seconds is the most Punisher Frank Castle moment ever put on screen and a direct homage to the first War Zone cover. Shame there probably won’t be a 3rd season where we get to see him truly embrace being the Punisher.  |

I have watched the first 2 episodes and yes, that bar brawl with Janis Joplin playing the background--WOW! Nice cameo by Shooter Jennings too. It seems like Frank got mixed up in this per chance. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the season!

I finally finished The Punisher last night and what a finale! I loved the very final scene--that scene was absolute perfection. Overall, an excellent season, although some of it was a chore to get through. It seemed like it could have been a few episodes shorter. Hope this will not the be the last we see of Bernthal as Frank Castle. I also like how Agent Medani came around. Would love to see more of her too. Curtis as well. I liked how they resolved John Pilgrim's story.
