 This one looked like I might have to bow out, especially after two of what I found out were very few options for meeting my secret criteria were taken before I had a chance to post...but then this beauty turned up!

Damn, I was sure there was a a Gene Day MoKF cover featuring a gargoyle or gargoyles but I seem to have been mistaken: lots of statues but nothing I can conscientiously call a gargoyle (which in my imagination, if not the dictionary definition, should be protruding from the side of a building).
