Looks like Marvel is trying to answer DC's success with the Compact Edition line with the launch of their Marvel Premiere Collection line. Unfortunately they are not competing in price, these will have an MSRP of $14.99 not $9.99. The first 4 announced are mostly modern collections: Daredevil: Born Again (Miller & Muzzuchelli-this is the oldest of the 1st 4 announced), Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Ta Nehisi Coates & Stelfreeze), Captain America: Winter Soldier (Brubaker), and Fantastic Four: Solve Everything (Hickman). Karl Kesel, David Hahn & co. have launched a Kickstarter for yet another new Impossible Jones book, this time a heftier 60+ page book rather than the short team-up books we've been getting for the past two or so years: Here's for the campaign page, which has more details.

Karl Kesel, David Hahn & co. have launched a Kickstarter for yet another new Impossible Jones book, this time a heftier 60+ page book rather than the short team-up books we've been getting for the past two or so years: Here's for the campaign page, which has more details. I got the initial graphic novel, but then kind of fell off. It was a fun book, but the cost per page has just been kind of daunting to me. $22 for a 60 page book seems like a lot.

No arguments from me, but outrageously high international postage rates means that I always go the digital route for all of these things anyway (so the $8 price tag for this one is pretty reasonable).
