I wonder who is the actor that will be playing Jay Garrick in this show at the finale when he is finally revealed to be the man behind the Iron Mask. It would be cool if it was John Wesley Shipp who was the original Flash in the early 1990's series. I doubt that will happen. John Wesley Shipp is built like a tank. The man in the iron mask has thin arms. |

Kevin Smith directed an episode and it was good?  ?? Maybe Hell IS freezing over. Honestly, it seemed like they found a draft of one of Mark Waid's old Flash issues and used it to make the Speed Force episode. |

Honestly, it seemed like they found a draft of one of Mark Waid's old Flash issues and used it to make the Speed Force episode. Wasn't terribly impressed with this particular episode. I found it especially cheesy personally, and a bit silly as well as repetitive. No fault (or praise) to Kevin Smith for it though. Were it not for the rediculous amount of press and promotion his directing the episode received, I wouldn't have known he was involved. |

Well I wasn't surprised in the latest episode that Zoom killed Henry in front of Barry. I saw that coming after Henry told Barry he was staying for good. It sucks though cause I really like seeing John Wesley Shipp on the show. I'm glad they at least finally did a scene with him and Amanda Pays together. I think 90's Flash fans were waiting for that to happen! |

What will happen tonight?
Is the man in the mask in the cage Henry Allen? the real Jay Garrick? Gardner Fox?
Will the Johnny Quick of Earth 3 show up to be the fast villain for next season?
If Zoom is after the multiverse, who else could show up? Supergirl? Rip Hunter? Pariah? The Monitor? The Anti Monitor?
Why do I have the feeling Wally will be MUCH faster by the time September rolls around?

It was heck of a finale, especially the last couple of minutes! I loved the reveal of the man in the mask!

It was heck of a finale, especially the last couple of minutes! I loved the reveal of the man in the mask! Yes having Shipp play the real Jay seems fitting on so many levels. And Barry resetting thw time line by saving his Mom will make a good Season 3 and sets up a way to bring other characters back. Besides getting Nora & Henry back we should also see Eddie and Earth 1 Wells. Since Barry stopped Reverse Flash, it should mean that the return of Wells should be the real Earth 1 good Wells and not Thwane pretending to be evil Well, which means I hope that Tom Cavanagh will be returning for Season 3. It also mean Eddie should be alive cause the timeline where he kills himself should be erased. I also think we might see the return Ronnie Raymond...... Maybe, maybe not. We will see.
Barry resetting the timeline leaves a lot of questions. From Season 1, we know that before Thawne went back in time to kill Nora, Barry was still the Flash, but I wonder if he will have a different costume now? In the new timeline are Caitlin & Cisco still working with Barry? And with the reset of the timeline will it change the rest od the Arrowverse in anyway? Looking forward to Season Three! |

Good news! It's really a no brainer if you saw the Season 2 finale, John Wesley Shipp has said he will return for Season 3 of course as Henry Allen now that Barry reset the timeline, but what you may not have heard, Shipp was allowed to leak that not only will we see him as Henry but we will also see more of him as Jay Gerrick/Flash. Hopefully we will see a Barry/Jay team up.
Also Tom Cavanagh confirmed that he will be in Season 3 as well. No plans were stated as how he would be used, but since Barry prevented Eobard Thawne from killing Nora, I'm guessing Cavanagh will play the real Harrison Wells 1 since we only saw flashbacks of him before Thawne killed him, and stole his identity. At least I'm hoping that's the case. |
