Episode 11 "The Sound and the Fury" The way Barry took down the Royal Flush Gang bikers was kind of clever. I thought that the Pied Piper's attack on Wells' home was a good showing of his power. Cisco's t-shirt made me laugh. I like that Eddie is starting to be suspicious of Wells. Joe laughing at Cisco's joke was great. Some of the CGI during Pied Piper's attack on that building looked cheap, but for the most part his confrontation with the Flash was pretty good. I like that Iris wants to be taken seriously as a journalist. Does Wells actually have trouble walking or was that due to Pied Piper's attack? Interesting that it was Wells that defeated Pied Piper and not Barry. Nice Firestorm tease. Speed Force mention!

Episode 12 "Crazy for You" Great save by Barry to open the episode. Interesting showing of Peek-a-Boo's powers. I like the banter between Cisco and Hartley and it was nice to see Cisco kick a little ass. Barry grabbing the bullet from behind his head looked cool. Danielle Panabaker did look amazing in that black dress. Firestorm's origin! Caitlin and Barry singing karaoke was kind of funny. Barry meets Wally West's wife? Clever way to catch Peek-a-Boo. Grodd! Looking forward to more Firestorm next week.

It's sweeps month, it's time for that villain to debut.
Once again, no complaints other than I have to wait a week for the next episode.

Episode 13 "The Nuclear Man" I could have gone without the '80s changing clothes montage but the rest of Barry making saves during his date was kind of funny. Glad to see more of Firestorm's origin. Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin have pretty good on screen chemistry together and I liked seeing them work the Nora Allen murder case. Now we know that Barry's Kryptonite is the ghost chili pepper. Wow great ending.

There's a song from the smallville soundtrack called Nuclear sung by Ryan Adams that's tailor made for Ronnie if they ever give Firestorm his own series
I kinda saw the General Eiling thing coming when Jason Rusch mentioned the army coming in and taking all the researchon the project.

The Firestorm Show was pretty darn good. I enjoyed it very much! I love when Caitlin put that device on Ronnie's chest and it became the Firestorm symbol that we've seen so many times on his costume in the comics. It will be interesting to see how the character develops as time goes on. I'm at least glad the writers went old school and did the character as the Ronnie/Stein Firestorm Matrix.

Although some fans fear DC won't try it, cause the character is not as strong as the major DC heroes are. Then again, before Arrow was on the screen, I never thought Green Arrow was a strong enough character to have his own series, after they did him on Smallville. Granted this is a different Oliver from that one, but I was still surprised on how hooked I would become on Arrow.

This is Firestorm's song. I also spotted how they got the chest symbol on him, very nice. No puffy sleeves though, got to save something for the series.

Episode 14 "Fallout" I thought the nuclear explosion looked pretty good for TV. I like the initial conflict between Ronnie and Stein and how they eventually work well together. I laughed at the references to Terminator and Back to the Future as well as Barry delivering pizza. Coast City reference! Clancy Brown is great as General Eiling. I was hoping Firestorm would do more than just throw fire. I guess it's still early in regard to his abilities though. I like that Barry is determined to change the past. I loved seeing Wells unmask as the Reverse Flash and him handing over General Eiling to Grodd was awesome.
